This game has never had a firm release date (apart from now), so it hasn't been delayed!

It's an action game, not an interactive movie.

haha this was meant to be an early release for the 360 it was meant to be one of the first games out and it has been put back and back every year since 2005. It looks good and I will buy it but I do wonder how tidy, coherent and polished the game will be with such development problems. Heat added

PC version cancelled, voted cold :x

...of course not, but i'm still angry.

You don't get Quidco or TCB for pre-orders!

Actually play.com send items 1st class too, only they come from Guernsey or Jersey or something, either way its overseas so it takes forever, same with Zavvi etc.

Rather Drake 2 (Uncharted 2), which was brilliant with platforming bits that weren't irritating like all of those old games where you're inching your way along platforms only to fall stupidly and start all over again. Free roaming sounds great until you're doing nothing but roaming. Remember playing Borderlands at a friends recently (great coop game) and spending ages trying to get an item that involved a stupid jump onto a narrow ledge that you would slide off (give me Uncharted style platforming any day compared to that rubbish).

If Alan wake plays like Uncharted 2, I'm more than happy.

The fact you named all of those games wrong goes to show how much you must know about them:whistling:

+2 :-D

If Uncharted 2 is an interactive movie then Dragons Lair is an RPG.

This game should be awesome by the way although I doubt that I would buy a collectors edition. I try not to pay more than £30 for any game if I can manage.

I did like Max Payne, so there is hope for this.

Hopefully it won't be like too human. Stuck in development for years and then does nothing they said it would.

Not the first case of that happening though, Daikatana being the best example that I can think of.

It's interesting to see that they have canned the Windows version of this though. Reading this preview makes it sound halfway between Silent Hill and Fahrenheit, aka awesome.

Just had a look at a video of this and preordered. Looks amazing! No idea why Uncharted's getting mentioned though, looks nothing like it at all!

In the old days PC games got console ports, but nowadays it seems it's more of a case of console games getting PC ports. If you're lucky you might get some extra features on pc. If not you might get something like Modern Warfare 2. I've pretty much given up on PC gaming, though I have got Dragon Age for PC. Too much hassle and money to get on the upgrade train.

Interesting Hands-On and Gameplay Videos from Eurogamer for those unsure about the game.
