Yeah I just saw this too in the Hemel Hempstead store. The collector's edition was £35 pre-owned too.

Still not cheap enough!

Getting there. I know this is still too much for a single player only game. However, CEX are offering £26 for it atm, so I'm thinking about buying it, completing it and then getting (most of) my cash back for Red Dead Redemption :D

You have to get Red Dead Redemption, it is epic and the best game I have played this year so far!

Is this better then Red dead redemption:?

voted hot by the way :)

Good price for a great game! But I would recommend getting the collectors edition, it only costs a little more and is a really nice package.

I actually prefer Alan Wake to Red Dead Redemption, it's so well put together and is really slick. But they are very different games so in many ways you can't compare.

If that's pre owned you've got to remember you don't get the free DLC with the game it's going to be another £5-10 on top of that price.

Love this game, worth every penny. Really immerses you and doesn't let go

Its basically max payne crossed with condemned

Just a note tp people to avoid pre-owned if you're interested in this. If you buy new it comes with a code for free DLC - a whole new chapter - which will be released in a month or so. You'll have to pay for this DLC later on otherwise.

Also, be warned it's quite short, completable in a few evenings. So with no multiplayer, there's really not much lifespan in this game. I'd say it's a sub-£20 game, or better still a rental, but I know people have been enjoying it. It's very much just Silent Hill meets Alone in the Dark, and apart from some graphical polish, hasn't really come that much further gameplay wise.

^^
Agree. This is a perfect rental, along with Heavy Rain for those that are interested. A weekend is enough to experience most of what the games have to offer. Personally rented this myself but thought it was a good offer for those who intend to buy

The collector's edition has loads of extra goodies that I'd highly recommend, including a bonus disc, an awesome soundtrack disc and a nice case.

I heard that this game will not be made available for the PS3 platform.

Is that right, anyone?

It is made by Microsoft Game Studios so you'd assume that it correct.
