Alba 4GB mp3 player £7.49 at Argos

Okay it's an Alba, but hey, people still buy Samsung TV's! You could pretend it's an ipod nano cos it's got the exact same level of functionality- and flash memory is flash memory. 8)

Please don't buy this for yourself or anyone else. I honestly can't think of a single reason for something like this to exist in 2017.

If you do want people to think you have an iPod shuffle then get one of these for £2.59

I wouldn't want anyone to think I had an Apple product - I was just offering that one up for anyone who didn't want to be taken for a mug by Apple.

Upon further investigation that Red mp3 player page says this:

Note: In order to use this mp3 player you must have a Micro SD card. You can not use this MP3 player without a Micro SD card.

So basically you'd save £4 only to have to shell out another £6-£8 on an SD card before you could even use it. Wonderful suggestion. (_;)

Agree with that. I had one of those clip players and they are poop. You can't select what to play and the battery stopped charging after a few uses.

The point where they, and their quality control dept, stopped bothering to try, and just chucked out trash with "Samsung" written on the front - safe in the knowledge that millions would just see the name on the front and think no further.
