#5
would this work on T-mobile seeing as t-mobile uses Orange signal???
#6
is there a choice of colour ? just googled it and it seems to have a range of different colours on the Alcatel website
#7
I'm sure Tit mobile uses its own equipment.
Would like to have one of these, makes text quicker for me. Mind asda is miles from me, so not much chance of me gettin it :(

Looks nice include bluetooth and AAC playback.

What would be the best SIM for this GiffGaff? There is no wifi or 3g but this is an amazing price. The phone looks well made.

Free unlocks here:

Yes I think you need to call CS and ask they will enable it.

I got my sister one. You can unlock them for about 99p.

However you cannot debrand them, so can't use the internet on other networks, even if the settings are sent via text. I paid about £45 at Christmas so good deal for someone on Orange.
#11
This is well hot! I suppose most of the kids need them for texting, so it's dead cheap! (so even if internet doesn't work when you put in a different sim after unlocking)

Link and source

State Sliver Black only out of stock on the web siter but there is an email me when back in stock option but you need to register with Adsa. Cashback might apply for web purchases if it ever comes back in stock on the Adsa web site...

Where did you get a 99p unlock!

It might be able to debrand http://www.mobilefile.info/tutorial-pinout-unlock-alcatel-ot-606-step-by-step-tutorial/ but it looks like you need to take it to an unlock store.

A certain site: Item number: 300515501930

Potentially cheaper too.

No shops in Hull debrand alcatels. Also the shop I got it from said they can't even unlock them. Which I thought was a lie...
#15
Plenty of sellers unlock it on ebay for 1.99 some even 0.99

I was under the impression you can debrand them, but it just takes a lot of manual work?

I have an OT-800 which I debranded myself. Painful at times but worth it!
#17
Cannot find anywere in SE / SW London :(

It says on Asda site battery standy by is up to 20 hours 30 minutes. This seems pretty bad to me considering it is 2g phone.

Just picked one of these up at Asda Hulme. Shelves said it was out of stock but took it to counter anyway and there was one left. Might have been more too that I didn't see.
