£84 for an 8gb phone in 2017 is laughable!

The Asda one is 3G only, not sure what this one is but the 4G sim free model of this was/is available in Tesco for £79.99 or £69.99 with £10 top up.

The Sainsburys link the OP has posted for the above model clearly states it is 8gb

Most probably you have got an upgraded 9001X model, which has 16GB onboard Memory and 1.3 Ghz Quadcore MTK processor, this one is 9001A model with 8 GB and 1.1Ghz Quadcore Snapdragon 210 processor

The Tesco one is not SIM free, but I suppose if you are on EE, it would still work.

]Actually they aint bad for price you pay. Compare that to others.
Immediately i never pay this price for it, let alone of any phone com to think it. Never worth paying loads, when something is only going to break, or get damaged in some sort of fashion.

does it have a extendable storage option ?

Never broken or damaged a phone in over 23 years. You must just be clumsy.

Yea i guess i am. Then something to do with my disability perhaps. When people wont move i am frustrated as i am tired. Alack of judgement on my part, that i never assumed me sliding it onto the table, meant it would completely clear it. As it had a case, that should have stop it, from friction. I guess it must have hit a polished area is all i can say. Slide across and off the table. Still works, and i am still using it.
But you are one lucky person. Lots of people have accidents. To prove that, just look at th amount of insurance companies that will cover your phone.

Not lucky. I take care of my things especially when phones are expensive. I guess that comes from me only ever being on payg and actually buying my phone outright as opposed to people getting phones "free" on contract and just throwing them around.

I am also on payasyougo. I generally look after the phones i have had. It is the first time i have had a screen shatter on me.As i said i was tire come in to find my parent in way and not moving, doing iron in a 3ft wide gap. As i just been doing weights, i was tired and not in the mood to be messed around. So hence my lyuck of judgment by sliding it onto the table. Only to my fear it slide right across and off.
