Is it likely to be a re-run of this deal?

That deal has all the above details the same.

We bought their 40" lcd about 5 years ago, and although we had a slight sound problem about 3 years ago, as it had a 3 year warranty it was sorted quickly, collected by a local company and returned.

I think it is a medion make, and have no complaints at all, although these do seem to be tumbling in price so would not probably go for a "big name" make for the same money.

1080p is, for the most part, pointless on a 32" LCD TV (and in most cases SD channels look WORSE at 1080P, especially on poor panels).
Then you have the fact that this is an unknown brand without a single review.

Great, it has a 3 yr warranty, but that's a lot of good when the TV could be a steaming pile of crap in the first place.

Spend a little more and get a decent branded 32" TV, it really would be worth it.
I haven't really looked around, just grabbed the first example I saw. Something like this would be more suitable for 99% of buyers -

I really don't see this as a hot deal at all.

oh and i have this tv. the only annoying thing i have found with it is that if you are playing a file from a usb key it doesnt let you fast forward. no idea why? hopefully ill set up some kind of media centre soon though.
apart form that i like it.
