Aldi have had these in a few times this past year or so and they're back again this Sunday 15th. Choice of colours and a 3 year warranty.
Good little stocking filler.
Lidl also have a different design but the same price starting this Thursday too.

Also in asda, you can pickup Bluetooth speakers for the same price. Little cubes and round ones as pictured here.

Amazing how these companies are able to get away with ripping off other brands, like the HMDX Jam stuff.

as per comment above.. I bought one of these few months ago the sound is very good for a small speaker and connects effortlessly on blue to phone/tablet etc.. would definitely recommend!

#12
My bad. I thought we were playing the obvious game

Posted one here from 7Dayshop the other day. Cheaper and with a built-in microphone so can be used for hands-free too. Mine has arrived, it's a great little device.

If these sound anything like the HMDX Jam speakers then i highly recommend as they don't half pack a punch for their size.

Been happening for ages. However the internals of the HDMX jams aren't really any different so it swings both ways I suppose.

Portable speakers have dramatically improved these past couple years. A lot of noise for the size. I personally would always go for the Kitsound Boombar. It's a little larger but a lot louder, has a passive radiator to give just a little bit of bass and it uses a removable Nokia battery!

You won't be disappointed, it's actually the black one I have. I never mentioned that it also has a micro SD card slot, and it's very fast delivery. 8)

Great gadgets, got similar one last year as a gift, then bought another from eBay for about £9.00. Search for 'super bass portable speaker'. Sounds a lot better than the plastic x-mini wired speaker models. Mine was very solid, stopped playing your music (if you were bluetoothing tracks from your mobile) when you receive a call - then played call. Also had a FM tuner and could play MP3s from a microSD card. Rechargeable with the standard microusb lead (ie as with a mobile) Nice and heavy so just great sounding, but you can make a further improvement in the sound depending on what surface it sits on, so experiment. Plenty of designs and features, colours, etc so shop around.

Only slight problems couldn't get one to work with a pal's XP laptop, put it down to an old version of bluetooth - and the bluetooth wireless connection uses the mobile battery quite a bit. Assume you can have the phone on charge while playing though. Was going to check if you could use the speaker while charging too ... the enclosed instructions were missing :-(

Bought two of these a couple of months ago when Aldi was selling them off cheap. Got mine for £6.99 and one for my daughter when they dropped to £4.99. Absolutely brilliant little speakers. Very useful if you want to play 'free' music off Youtube via your phone when you're in the kitchen or decorating bedrooms.
#26
got the HDMX onnes and if these are anything like those sound wise then this deal is a bargain.
#27
Can't decide between one of these or the Anker ones currently on offer for £20. :-\
#28
I was looking at the anker ones too, what's swinging it for me is aldis warranty on electrical products, I had an issue with an item I bought a few years ago and they were superb

Good little speakers these!

Missed this last time round - fast seller

finally a good price for speaker! thanks and heat
#32
£10 is quite a lot for own brand. I bought a branded speaker for less than this
#33
can these bluetooth speakers be connected to each other on one device, so one phone but two speakers connected to it so it plays the same thing in each speaker? or not possible?

How much would you expect to pay for a bluetooth speaker with a 3 year warranty?? £1.50?
So what 'branded' speaker did you buy for a tenner?
#35
Bought the one from lidl this morning as I was passing early enough, (8:30) only had 2 left!!! Sound is pretty good, better than I was expecting. Bass was good enough for me or should I say daughter when she gets it, although it was more tinny the further away you were but that was a good 5 metres away.

Just had a look and unfortunately the listing has ended on all three colours the trader had for sale. Bummer.
FYI the original link is on post #6 of this thread.
