ALDI - Frosty's 2L Neapolitan IceCream reduced to 59p!

£0.59 @ ALDI
I think original price was £1.29, so it's more than half price? Haven't tried it yet, but at 59p for 2L icecream... I guess you can't go wrong? Read More

Worried if it gets too hot ice cream might melt.. :p

Of course you can go wrong with it - if it does not taste ok. For example you can get the Sainsbury's basic vanilla ice cream for this price, but I would not recommend it. Sure, the flavors may cover up some issues, but I remain skeptical. I would rather spend a bit more on really good ice cream.

Been this price since July 2nd, part of their 'Big Deal'

For anyone that hasnt tried this, get it NOW!! I love ice-cream and bought this ages ago thinking it would be rubbish and to my surprise it was delicious. Stays quitye soft and IMO tastes better than some of the so called "top" brands like Mackies and HD etc.

I've had Frosty's strawberry ice cream from Aldi's and it is deeeelicious, love it. Will pop out tomorrow for this one, almost finished the Tesco neapolitan in the freezer. I love my ice cream :whistling: voted hot.

"I think original price was £1.29, so it's more than half price?"

If its 59p, then it is less than half-price - or 'more than half off' if you want to say it less elegantly!

I haven't tried this one yet but Aldi ice cream is usually good. And my favourite soft-scoop vanilla is from Lidl at (currently) just over £1 for 2 litres. But everyone has a personal favourite.

Yeah, I meant to say "more than half off"... but to me, "more than half price" still makes sense (ie. "better than half price")...

59p for 2L is excellent... have already bought one and it tastes great (especially in the waffle cones Aldi also had for only 39p)

oh? How so? :?
Less real cream they use = less fat or something?
