Just use it for weight. Biometric impedence is not at all reliably accurate. Purely a gimmick.

So, it's £12.99 for some weighing scales.

Most features are pointless and BMI is a load off tosh anyway! Ok price for a set of Salter scales though.

Bad time to buy scales after Christmas, and during dark depressing dark nights combined with the cold weather...

Probably not, as people will start to eat normally after Christmas and get back to routine and lose weight.

Very inaccurate as others have said. Your body fat reading depends partly on hydration level. Completely different reading just from taking a glass of water. Still cheap digital scales though. I use mine for weighing my suitcase when I go on holiday :)

That's a different model. This one has athlete mode, bone mass, BMR and a larger display showing multiple items at once.

Compared to other analyser scales offering those more advanced features, this is a good price.

pure gimmick for those who's afraid to look in the mirror.
