looks like ZTE Blade.
SIM free so can be used on any network
this is crap.
You can get Moto G 8GB for same price, much better specs, much better company:
Moto vs Aldi? simple choice :)
It will get COLD in here

I would have high hopes for a smartphone sold by Aldi, but they've fallen vastly short.

Phone spec is designed for a beginner phone but it lacks the price tag. I wouldn't pay more than £40-50 for it and that's pushing it, and even then there's plenty of better phones out there for even £50.

512 mb ram haha

Another Aldi fail. They became too smart for what they are, Lidl offers better value anyway.
Agree with Gynx - £30-40 mark would be more realistic for the spec

You might prefer the tripe and pig's ears that they have on offer the same day
It's a shame that the specs on this phone are so poor - for this price nowadays, it's just about possible to get a decent phone, but this is just a let down. 4GB is way too low for an android smartphone, and 512MB of RAM is just really poor.
It's dual core but still seems well over-priced currently. £50 would seem reasonable but not a stellar price but the current price is very poor value and frankly a bit of a con. The Moto E seems a much better phone and can be got for this sort of price.
They have got this hopelessly wrong, its under specced and over priced. They will have lots left/returned.
Will end being reduced to get rid of them.
Yikes - what a dud!
Not like Aldi to make such a poor
value product. They have a tablet
that day and I wonder if that is any
lol, poor Aldi, god loves a trier mind, Get A Moto G or S3 imo.
Disappointing of Aldi if it's really as bad as what people in this thread are suggesting, as their goods are usually of pretty decent quality and value.
I get a cubot. They might not be the best phone on the market, but you get a hell allot more for your money than the main streem manufactures. Especially aldi crap

a decent phone....five years ago!
Does not even appear to have a flash, basic, Aldi going down hill fast with their special buys recently, shame.

You all seem to forget that there are still lots of customers of Aldi who don't read HUKD, these will probably fly out the door come Thursday.

Still crap though, lol.
nice little phone, far better deal.
Bit like the moto mobiles over priced tac :) but least you get 3yrs peace of mind with this

Even the Moto E massacres the spec of this aldi phone and the 3 years is just a normal guarantee not insurance on damaging, losing or having the phone stolen so not really peace of mind. However you want to spin it this is an atrocious deal and very poor value. It just appears to be some naff generic chinese phone rebranded for Aldi. It may be there are further problems with poor construction and possibly compatibility issues as there is no information on gpu performance etc, it may be very weak. Not forgetting the low res screen, poor battery, poor camera etc.

Moto G, S3 etc will blow this into the weeds. imho.
Moto e and g are both more expensive but the huawei ascend g510 is sim free at argos for this price with a 4.5 inch screen...
Awful deal....much better phone out there forZ £ 80....
If you are ok with a PC you are better off getting the ZTE open C and the reflashing it with Android 4.4

Half the price, simular spec and runs a newer version of android.

The flashing proccess isn't overly complicated If you know how to install software on a windows PC you should be able to do it relitively easily.
You might prefer the tripe and pig's ears that they have on offer the same day

That was ironic, right?
