Aldi - Perth (Glasgow Road) are having a car park sale all weekend 13/14th December.
Up to 80% off selected lines.
If you're in the area wrap up warm and grab yourself a bargain.

I would imagine this is a local sale. They were putting up the signs as I was leaving and I was in a rush, so I never asked if it was nation wide or even in the Perth inveralmond store but giving its layout, I would doubt it.

First time of submitting a deal using the android app.

Aldi bashers feel free to contribute, but upto 80% off is a deal regardless so don't vote cold because you don't like Aldi, I'd rather you didn't vote at all.

This sounds like the deal at an Aldi I visited at the weekend. Outside they had racks of goods reduced by 80% or more including cycling trousers, cycle fron/rear light sets, mudguard sets, walking boots, insoles, running clothes, builders gloves, socks, security camera set, brooms, soup caddies, walking boots, wool, tools, welly boot socks, thermal socks, kitchen stuff, Etc.

Yep, that's the one. Pile 'em high, sell 'em low. Its basically stuff they can't shift throughout the year. This same branch had one not so long ago so I was surprised to see they were having another one so soon
#3
I thinkitis all of the specialbuys they cant shift.Save them up and flog the.Great just In time for Christmas.

The Perth branch is pretty hidden behind Lidl and a Majestic Wines - extremely poor location and there is never more than a couple of cars in the car park (I usually go in the evening). I'm not surprised then that they are having another sale so soon. The poor staff, it's Baltic here, hope they don't get put out in the car park for their full shift - they won't be used to working outside!

Thanks OP, my local store....I'll be there! Chuckles27 is right though, it's absolutely freezing here at the moment, feel very sorry for the staff that will have to be outside all day :( Heat added OP xxx

Wouldn't be surprised if Glasgow Road store shut now they have that, presumely larger, new store at Inveralmond.

Thanks. I misses the last one so will have a wee nose round to see what's on offer and yes, it is pretty cold just now. SSE will be coining it in !

I would protest ! Its right close to my work and handy to nip in on the way home. its less busy now the inveralmond branch has opened which is a bonus for parking spaces, but the staff there are really good and have never been anything less than helpful in my experience

I remember when Aldi Glasgow Rd.opened, they had very few customers.I thought it was a very good store.Hope it does not close.

Thanks - anyone know if us Sassenachs get any of the action this weekend or is it this specific store only?

I could do with a load more tools and man gadgets that I don't need...
#11
I hope the store doesn't close as it's not easy for the elderly who don't drive. Inveralmond is quite a distance if you don't drive.

The staff at the Glasgow road, are very helpful and always pleasant. It's makes the shop more enjoyable than having some grumpy assistant that just glares at you.

I hope it's a good turn out for Aldi tomorrow. :)

Good spot op... I'm in need of a new car park. Heat added

the one in Baguley had one of these a couple of weeks ago...

picked up a few bits..

muffin tin 39p
ratchet socket set £1.99
right angle drill bit 0.99p

you might want to add the time. the one in leven started at 8am today (staff told me yesterday. didn't say what sorts of things were going to be out though). not sure if it's 8 there too. wouldn't want to drive on icy backroads and find most of it's gone by mid morning.

Going by the winds this week, I hope they have the stuff nailed down :)

sorry, been at work all day. There wasn't a specified start time so I would imagine its from when they open. Just hope the weather holds out, but seeing as its the whole weekend, they must have a load of stuff to shift. Happy hunting :)

let's face it, the Glasgow road store was crazy busy all day. It's clearly very popular and given the lack of units taken in the Inveralmond retail park I'd imagine they would be getting some kind of incentives from P&K council.

I could be wrong but some form of revenue for the council is better than none at all. Too many retail spaces around the city sitting empty. Its about time they got their finger out and offered some incentives to bring in more employment opportunities, such as Aldi, so hopefully no, they won't close down the Glasgow road store
