Book Information

Oh, the simple pleasures of settling down with a novel by Alexander McCall Smith! It doesn't matter how dreary the day might be, you're quickly transported to the dusty roads of a sunnier climate and you're soon lost amongst the charming characters, not least the formidable Precious Ramotswe, Botswana's only - and finest - female private detective. Long before you tire of these delightful tales, you can also take a trip to a very different community - the comings and goings at 44 Scotland Street or, resting in Edinburgh for a while, you might happily spend some time with Isabel Dalhousie, amateur sleuth and the host of The Sunday Philosophy Club. Whichever destination you reach, you'll be in very good company!

This has been posted before a few times..most recently 5/6 months ago here: and has been this price for ages at the Book People.

May be worth a re-post as it's a good deal though for people that haven't seen it before.
I bought this box set the last time it was posted, which coincided with a free postage code. Excellent value for some good books. I particularly like the 44 Scotland Street books. The Ladies Dectective books are also quite good but I didn't much like the Sunday Philosophy Club books.
