I think this is a great price from M&S, ordered one today together with the granite stand. Heat added.

The only items that I have to get a bargain on is a set of table and chairs now, lol

How resistant is this to rain? I was thinkng of combining this with a patio heater for the winter, and take it in when raining, but there is always the possibility of it getting wet, is it a problem?
Also, anyone owners, how is the solar light, any good?

I think generally parasols are fine if they get a bit wet but you should make sure to let them dry out properly - i.e. not treat them as an umbrella - since they usually are made of wood (the frame) which would rot

In the item description it states "Great for outdoor parties and alfresco dining, the solid build of this sturdy parasol and base prevents any unfortunate mishaps from occurring, allowing you to entertain in fine style"

But when you drill down to product details it says "Base sold separately"

Anyone know which is correct?

Pretty expensive for a parasol I think - and don't expect the solar lights to do much.

No crank mechanism; only 2.7m (not 3m). not such a great deal as I think you're paying a premium for the lights. cold from me.
