  I'd rather go for the six-disc version as it has both theatrical and directors' cuts versions of each movie; of which I think the director's cut of Alien 3 being the cut of that film i'd prefer to watch.

  yes, zavvi is selling the 6 discs "box set" @14.95 pounds which is great price, too. Both are good deals IMHO, depending on how much you value the extra content, or you're juts into the "movies" (like i am).

  6 disc edition all the way, the extras are bloody brilliant for these movies, even the mediocre 3rd and 4th films. Good price, but if you really want to enjoy the Alien universe to its fullest I'd highly recommend going for the slightly more expensive but definitely worth it 6 disc set.

  Y'know, the manufacturers could really help the retailers out by giving them more fleshed-out product details. Either that, or Zavvi could help itself by publishing full manufacturers' descriptions. :)

  Defo Heat i have the original ultimate blu ray box set thingy majig with the 'Mu-th-er' Mode interface which is in my humble opinion better than this set but only if you give a damn about extra's.. if you don't, then this is about as good as a tenner will get u on blu ray, heat added.. but consider the 6disk version :)
