There have been a couple of bike deals on here recently and as I am looking for one, thought I would have a look aound.

Found that all Apollo bikes are 1/3 off until Monday 5th October.

I'm sure the quality is not as good as more expensive bikes, but would be really interested to hear from people who have owned one as to whether they are any good or not.

There are customer reviews for a number of the bikes.

I was looking in Halfords today and noticed the two Apollo folding ones. They are heavy but the reviews seem good.
i bought the appolo force for my brother for about £60 last month... now its £80 but after discount its £52... so still better than before but not really 1/3rd off as they hiked the price up!
I looked at 3 apollo boys bikes last weekend, 2 bmx's & a 14", & although good online reviews I wasnt impressed, quality seemed a little poor, maybe I'm fussy. the girls honeybee looked quality though, couldnt understand why my lad didnt like it
that is reasonably cheap but poor quality bikes and bad after care service would not make me buy them
:)Apollo Sweetpea 14" Girls Bike 08
Cat. code: 928473-0
Apollo Sweetpea 14" Girls Bike has detachable stabilisers.
I am thinking about reserving this bike for collection, do you think it is worth £53 or would this one be better at £49.99,Pink Rose 12" Girls Bike 09
Cat. code: 160757-0
The Pink Rose 12" Girls Bike is suitable for girls from 3-5 years old.
I need to decide today as the sale on the appollo ends today. I think the 14" would be better as she wouldn`t get much use out of the 12" now as she is almost 3 but just about fits on her brother`s 14" bike. It will be for christmas. Any advice is appreciated,Thanks .
Sorry I forgot to ask if anyone has had a bike assembled at the Aberystwyth store, if so would they recommend this service. Thanks.
