paste this text into image link box:

http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/images/91-6704496aSPA71UC553116M.jpg

and this link is slightly "cleaner" to reach the Argos item page:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6704496.htm

as with any potential printer purchase:
check printer food capacity and costs prior to purchase.

Are you sure you can get compatible in for this printer as i can only find refill kits for it.

Don't know where you searched but the first link on Google:

No doubt more elsewhere

If anyone is interested in buying one of these, I would recommend them.

Occassional slight smudge lines (doesn't affect readability of document and doesn't happen to often) but a relatively fast print speed and quality for this price, and my cartridges seem to last for ages.

Obviously not the best printer in the world, but I find it ideal for printing uni work and photocopying documents - especially at this price.

i had this, it's terrible! always eating up quality paper, the whole desk moves when it prints.. paper massacre grabber! pmsl terrible scanner too! bad quality, i had a better dell/lexus one for free!

seem to all be remanufactured canon carts, no COMPATIBLES, and they all seem to be about a tenner for the black inks. i need a new printer a my epson sx205 wont accept any compatible print cartridges its driving me mad.

almost certain same thing in ASDA for £30. could be wrong but it looked like this!

I was seriously tempted by that one yesterday, I don think its the same as this one, it said Pixma IP then some numbers, not MP, still looked great for £30 though!!

If am not mistaken, the ASDA one is just a printer, not multifunction.:?

BTW, can't these cartridges be filled with the injectable ink we get from PC world and all???
#14
Thanks, have reserved mine!
#15
I've got 2 of these and they are very fussy on the replacement carts used. Even genuine carts that have been refilled only work about 40% of the time, local ink refill shop no longer garauntees them, just offers a same value reduction off of new Canon cart if refill doesn't work.
#16
reserved this had £20 argos vouchers to spend .

i've had none of these problems. Scanner isn't brilliant, but more than sufficient for price paid.

Got this printer the other day, note if you're on Vista it does NOT come with Vista drivers. You'll need to download them from the canon website, so don't bother with the CD software as you can get all you need from the site too.
#19
Ive got one as I have not had any problems. Would recommend for £30
#20
Where's the special deal here it's always at this price?
#21
I have one of printers and it does the job well, had none of the problems mentioned in earlier posts, well worth £29.99

No one has said that, the debate is around the price of replacement inks.
#23
great find mate.. thanks
#24
can you say name of the ink used in this printer please
#25
Guys buy the Epson SX200 instead. It's £20 more but you will literally save £100's through buying compatible cartridges. Plus it's a better printer than this.
#26
Heat added :)

Good price for the printer etc . shocking price for the refils/ compatibles , not voted either way good find to kuttan , people are just use to cannon ink at a very low price.
#28
is this any good?
#29
i always check for refill prices before buying a printer :)
#30
Hi,

Just been out and got one today as I need to print some documents tonight!!

i only purchased this as my Colour Laser needs some new toner and im still waiting for it to be delivered!! (i have to print some documents for in the morning!!)

Once i have done what i need from it, it will be a good spare...

Sounds more like a dodgy desk then printer problem to me
banned#33
do not waste your money on this, i had a canon pixma mp150 and it cost a fortune for the ink!
sold it on ebay for a tenner and bought a brother dcp 135c, it does exactly the same, printer, scanner, copier and ink is as cheap as chips on the high st. let alone online retailers.
as others have already said it is all down to ink cost.

Exactly. Get a more sturdy table, mate! ;)
#35
i dont c how this is £80 elsewhere even the mp190 is about £40 which has similar spec. its around £30 on ebay and 40 at robert dyas. the only place selling it for around £80 is an amazon reseller called mrtronics
