The beachfront Mareblue Cosmopolitan Hotel is an excellent All Inclusive hotel. The resident entertainment team and the on site children's club ensure younger guests are taken care of throughout their stay. The friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities make this hotel an ideal choice for a family holiday. On the beach, which is reached by an access tunnel, there are sun beds, umbrellas and water sports, all at extra local charge. The 377 rooms are located through a main building, a scattering of bungalows and a series of annex blocks, all surrounded by the mature, extensive gardens. Rooms are modern and comfortable with air conditioning (included mid June to mid Sept, payable locally in other months), satellite TV, music channels, Wi Fi access, fridge, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box (extra charge payable locally), bathroom with bath, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace. Although the official rating is 4 stars we strongly believe that after the refurbishment of the rooms and the restaurant and now under the management of the famous Mareblue chain, the hotel deserves our 5 sun rating.

Yeah, I'd book the flights with a different company (try Netflights for starters) but I'm sure I could drink/eat my way through £30 worth of booze/food by dinner time :-D

Seems not to be a deal that involves taking any kids. which is fairly rubbish as AI holidays really appeal to families.

I suppose if you don't have a family the idea of a family holiday would be a nightmare

Agreed, but if I didn't have a family I wouldn't be looking at AI to be honest.

I wonder why you say it's not suitable for kids:
"The resident entertainment team and the on site children's club ensure younger guests are taken care of throughout their stay"
•Outdoor pool
•Tennis court
•Games room
•Children's club
•Children's playground
•Customer Lifts
•Children's pool
•Table tennis
•Pool table
•Evening Entertainment
•Daytime Entertainment
•Water sports
•Beachfront
•Kid's Clubs

All that seems VERY child friendly to me

I didn't say it wasn't suitable for kids Andy. I said you can't get availability if you have kids.

It looks very good for kids in fact :)

Sorry, misunderstood your post :)

H&R LEFT.

Passed this hotel many a time on my trips to Rhodes Town from the South, 3 day car hire for 50 Euro is common if you fancy a tour around the island.
We found a Winery, and Osterich Farm last time we went!

Looking forward to more of your holiday posts Andy, as we're looking to go away for a week from sometime next week. :whistling:

Very true, people don't keep proper control of their offspring over here; it would be 10x worse overseas with the booze/sun combo....

no need to pay double just ensure there isnt a kids pool, playground, kids club etc. hardly rocket science.

Cold for me, sorry..

£30 a night is only for October (arguably the best time to go, but still..)
Being per person, per night, it doesn't seem particularly cheap..
You have to book for a minimum of 7 nights..

edit: I've now voted hot on the basis of it being a 5-star all-inclusive.. it is actually good value.. but personally I'd be lookig for something cheaper per night, probably on a SC basis.
