I've just taken my first look at the All Saints website and have fallen in love with almost everything on there, shame I can't afford most of it. However, I saw the above dress and whilst I don't have anywhere to wear it too (and am probably a bit old to wear it) I thought it was gorgeous and a real bargain, I'm not sure if it's available instore aswell - sorry.

They've only got a size 10 left but if you have a browse through the website you might a few other things available in your size. I ordered a long sleeved t-shirt for £12 from £40 and am now hooked.

Forgot to say that it's free delivery too and you can get 10% through quidco, shame I didn't realise this before I placed my order - I got a bit excited that I was ordering from such a trendy shop!!
thanks annie - thought the sale had finished ages ago so its great to see some mega reductions. i love all saints - it may be expensive but everything i have ever bought from there has been worn to death so it really is worth it. thanks again!

Did you manage to get one? I notice that it's sold out now so there obviously weren't many let, I just wish I was 10 yrs younger and had somewhere to wear it to. I have to admit that I've heard a lot about it but figured it was for young ones, I'm 36 and am at that age where I have to be concious that I'm not dressing too young, but I saw Fern Britton wearing a jumper dress in NOW magazine and loved it so thought I'd have a look, they really do have some gorgeous things in there but with 2 kids to buy clothes for I think I shall have to lay "birthday" hints. Hmmmm, just remembered it's Mothers Day soon, perhaps a little over budget but worth a try!!
annie i'm 40, certainly not mutton dressed as lamb (have many friends who would tell me the moment i am) and put style, comfort and wearability over fashion - i couldn't wear everything all saints do but they have an individuality that few labels have these days. i live between south india, london and new york and my all saints stuff gets complimented everywhere - its 'demure' enough for south india, 'fashionista' enough for london and 'edgy' enough for brooklyn - enough said!
oh, i'm getting the angelika dress in the grey/black and i've been coveting the army boots since last year!
treat yourself - you KNOW you're worth it!
That makes me feel better, I did think actually that a lot of their stuff is quite "age-free" which is nice. It's really hard at our age (I don't mean to make us sound old) to find something that is still really trendy but doesn't look like it should be on a 20 year old, at least I have 2 daughters to dress but at 4 & almost 8 it will be a few years before I can get them into All Saints. I really can't afford their full prices but for birthday/xmas I could probably persuade a few people. Saw the angelika dress and really liked it, remember it as I knew my daughters would love the name of it.
annie i totally agree - i want to be taken seriously, not looking sadly like some 25 yr old wannabee. but i do think that our generation are lucky to be able to still experiment and try new 'looks' without the neighbours wondering if we've had too much gin with breakfast! i think you've hit the nail on the head with 'age-free' - i 'did' fashion, now its about my own personal style and that means spending a little bit more on things but then wearing them year in year out because they were never 'in' fashion so they can't ever be 'out' of fashion. play the sales (and birthdays!) well and check out whistles, jaegar, reiss & (my personal fave) tk maxx and you'll continue wowing them at the school gates for years to come! you work it girl - you're only 36 - a gorgeous lady who hasn't even hit her peak yet!! enjoy!!
Why thankyou!! I've discovered TK Maxx but we don't have any of the other stores in Lincoln unfortunately, may have to look online. My New Years resolution was to stop wearing jeans so much so bought a few dresses and skirts in the sales that I now wear with thick tights and boots, my goodness me if I'd realised that getting my legs out would've had this much effect I'd have done it ages ago, didn't realise it would be such a shock and I always get comments which is encouraging.

Thanks for your kind comments and encouragement, I shall continue to scan All Saints and may have to look on the good old auction site to see if there are any bargains to be had!!
