whilst looking around for the best ISA account i was directed to Alliance and Leicester Premier ISA @ 7%.

Excellent deal if you can get it.

You must NOT hold a premier current account with A+L. It's for new business only.

So open and premier account and you can then open a premier ISA.

Go through Quidco for £50 cashback.

I'm not sure if the refer a friend is still available. I have used it in the past (you get £50 and your freind gets £50 if referred by them)

Refer a friend is currently running ar £25 each for referrer and referree.
PM me if you need a referral.:)
#2
But as you can no longer get both refer a friend bonus AND Quidco, far better to just go through Quidco IMHO.
#3
are you allowed to offer yourself as a referree? if so i have no problem in also offering myself!

Why is this not possible now.Surely you can open an account via quidco and then send in the voucher to claim you referral £25.:?

Can we avoid "PM me for a referral" posts? I know it is an extra bonus but I don't want threads turning into a big long "and me!". Also asking for a referral on this comes close to self-referral which we don't allow and which can bias a person's posting and opinion of a Hot Deal.

It's ok to state it as a fact (you can also get £25 for referring a friend/family) but let's avoid the PM or contact me bit.

What does the £500 funding to the premier current account imply?
Can I just make a standing order for £500 to the account and remove the money a couple of days later?

Brand new customers only. :(

I can only see the Premier Current Account on Quidco, and not the ISA.

How would this track?

There's a lengthy thread on this on MSE. You used to be able to get both but when A&L realised their folly, they have input a new line in their T&Cs that basically stops you getting both Quidco and referral bonus.

Still worth a try isn't it? You have to claim refer a friend within 8 weeks if I remember correctly so if you've got the quidco in that time then you'll probably get both. Can't see how A&L could say no to you if you got the quidco too, they have no way of knowing surely and they couldn't prove it either as they wouldn't be allowed access to your quidco account.

I think you have to open a current account and it comes with an ISA. So you're getting the refer a friend and possibly quidco bonuses for the current account but it comes with a good rate on an ISA.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Thanks for the extra info belly.:)
