cheap price 4 alloy tax disc holder.

Not really that cheap for four. Four of them would be £20. It would be nice if there was a bulk discount though since I have various parking permits I need to display in addition to a tax disc.

You can get some subtle nice plain tax disc holders, however this one will match your neon washers, lexarse lights, seat belt pads, barry boy exhaust etc oh don't forget to put your foglights on as well.

I like the holders that say 'I've paid my tax - unlike my MP' does anyone know a source?

Five pounds? for a tax disc holder...

These are cheap for a reason... the more expensive ones are a lot more durable, are made from milled aluminium and have either the Allen key screws or a twist off motion.

These ones seem to be laser cut from VERY thin metal (paper thin), which has then been plastic covered and uses flimsy magnets to hold it to the part on the screen. In the Hot summer that we had last year the plastic actually shrunk in the heat and caused the metal to bend and warp.

These are actually given away by Vibe at car audio shows, meets and retailers as promotional products. I know this as i have about 5 or 6 of these in a bag when i went to a car audio day at a car audio specialists.

It amazes me that some people will spend a fiver on a tax disc holder and then not tax the car!

agree, not worth even 1 quid

I think I paid 29p for a plastic one and have been using it for the last 10 years, so a fiver for a holder seems over priced to me.

Is there a heated version available?

Funny that people want something like this.... after paying yet another tax I certainly wouldn't spend even more money to display the tax disc.

My tax is still in the post...

Nasty ones

A normal one

not worth a fiver or any money.

How about these instead? Help For Heroes only £2 and all profit goes to the charity.

Paying for a tax disc holder?
That's like buying a nice frame to show off your electricity bill.

I don't really get what these are for?

As a motorcyclist I pay road tax but don't bother showing it, as it will just be stolen instantly and I'll have to pay for another disc. I can understand some kind of lockable holder for a tax disc for a motorcycle though - is this what these are for? There's no mention of fixings or security?

Why would you want to spend £5 on a tax disc 'holder' that you just stick inside your car windscreen?

This will look swell on all those lovely Chaved up Saxo's ;-)

29p for a plastic one in the post office:thumbsup:

look at all this negativity in the thread

i got mine to day and can confirm one thing, itis ****! lol

I thought it was some metal durable one but this i plastic and cheap, ah well it was quidco payout that paid for it

lol

oh and the worse thing is you have to stick the tax on it somehow, i used tape

ah well it comes with a nice cloth i can use to clean my glasses
