Anyone know if this is compatible with the iphone 3G - if it is Im getting one. The apple website doesnt list it as compatible but does list the touch.

Edit - a few websites seem to think it is - might have to grab one.

Sod it - ordered - I'll return it if it doesnt work properly.

Edit - Quidco Validated within the hour at £2.38

Just collected mine - it does indeed work with the iphone - the iphone comes up with a message saying "this device is not designed for the iphone, do you want to turn on airplane mode to cut down on interference", I just said no and it played fine. I think it only allows you to skip/go back tracks on the iphone, although I have only played with it for a few minutes.

Edit - oh and if you do get one - check the adapter you put in is the right one cause they are a git to get back out.

It's not the best looking thing in the world ... so assuming they have built for sound over aesthetics is the audio quality any good ? ( any takers ? )
I figure for £30 it's worth a punt ... unless someone says it' s a load of pony.
Also ... does it have a battery ? ( for power cuts etc ... )

Its actually a nice little compact design. yes the sound is quite good for its small size - its not going to do you for a party - but if you want music in your kitchen whilst cooking, or such like it is more than good enough, I generally only listen to it when Im getting ready for work in the morning as I use it to wake me up. Basically dont think its going to be able to handle a party and you'll be fine.

And yes it has a place for a backup battery.
