Was waiting for my amazon voucher to buy the 4 pack maxtra and saw this deal online. Tempted to give it a try. Works out just over 2 quid per cartridge! (They seem to be doing a free delivery offer which states end of august but when you check out the item is still on for free delivery.)

Product Details
The LAICA Biflux range was designed to offer customers across Europe a quality alternative to the market leading brands at a more affordable price - Proving very popular already in the UK, France, Germany and Italy, especially in the mail order market.

The cartridge features a fine blend of activated carbon and ion-exchange resin, essentially polishing the taste of the water by removing chlorine and dissolved organics and removing scale forming minerals which cause problematic limescale in kettles and 'floating scum' on hot drinks. The media longevity is similar in terms of performance and volume to that used by other leading manufacturers.

Excellent value for money representing savings of up to 60% against the brand name alternatives.

Hi speed cartridge
More efficient than "classic" (round) cartridge
5 stage filtration (see diagram)
Cartridges are individually sterilised for protection to maintain the highest level of hygiene
Recognised certification
'Ring pull' for easy replacement
Compatible with Brita* Maxtra* water filters (*registered trademarks)
