I just bought two tokens for £16, going later in the week!

This deal works out cheaper than using the buy one get one free vouchers.

They deliver the entrance tokens to you, and normally dispatch the tokens within one working day.

tesco clubcard deals
#4
this is a regular clubcard deal, are you going to post every deal??? LOL
#5
#6
its common knowledge
#7
I didn't know Alton Towers was in the Clubcard deals, I only found it by chance when searching Google.
Whichever way you look at this deal, it's going to save you some money and I'm sure there are people out there who will find it useful.

I challenge the cold voters to find entry to Alton Towers cheaper :)

these deals are all common knowledge, yes great deals, but dont need posting
#10
Lots of deals are posted that are common knowledge - still a good deal though.

Voted hot - it's a good deal at the end of the day. (Still v.cold in 'ere though!)
#11
Fair play to Dappy, this is a good deal. It's not a bad deal because it has been posted before or that people are aware of it. Not everyone is, it will help more people than hinder them.

Keep up the good work Dappy.
#12
Thanks svans and welcome to HUKD! :)
#13
Thanks i did't know Alton towers was with tesco's
#14
It wasn't common knowledge to me because I don't shop in Tesco and so didn't know about clubcard or clubcard deals. I do now so thanks for the post Dappy.
#15
sorry dippy but where have you been for the last 3 years:oops:

Thats how long these deals have been out.

Voted cold:w00t:
#16
you said you are going later in the week?

Doesn't it take a while to cash in tesco points and get the reward sent to you??

I just went to Alton Towers on Saturday and used buy one get one free vouchers because I thought these would take too long to get ?
#17
why is this cold ? just because the die hards know all about it ?, i didnt as i dont shop at tescos, this is an excellent deal as i was planning a trip to Alton towers this summer and my fatherinlaw has loads of clubcard points, ive just give him £32 and asked him to get me 4 tickets thanks to the OP you have saved me a fortune
#18
I didnt know voted hot for me big saving for us

It's Dappy ... And if you had read this thread correctly you'd realise that this deal is specificly for the Alton Towers deal, not the all of the Tesco Clubcard deals.
#21
I'm going to use my clubcard vouchers for the same sort of saving at Longleat, there are some really good options....

Just phoned Tesco to chase my order and they told me the booking had been completed and that the tickets were locked in the post room ready to go at 15:30 this afternoon for delivery to me tomorrow via 1st class post.

It does say "normally dispatched within one working day" on the website when ordering the tokens and I have an estimated delivery date of tomorrow, so we'll see. :)

Sorry Dappy, but its not such a great deal as the REAL value of the clubcard deals tokens is x4, so this is costing you £32 per person. All depends on how you use your clubcard tokens I suppose - far better value than spending them in store for face value.

The real bargin is £23 worth of clubcard deals for an annual Tussauds ticket - worth its weight in gold, we've been to Alton towers 4 times already in the last 6 weeks.

.

so what you are saying is £8 just gets you £8 off a ticket ? whats the point of that ? can anyone else confirm this ?
#25
How it works is...you can exchange your £8 of club card tokens for a ticket for alton towers. However, you can ALSO exchange £8 of clubcard tokens for £32 off of a holiday, or £32 worth of rac cover, or £32 worth of tokens for a meal out at several of the big restaurant chains....

So in effect your alton towers ticket is costing you £32 because your £8 of clubcard points could be used elsewhere for better value. Like I say, if you are just going to spend your £8 of clubcard points in Tescos off of your shopping then it is better value to buy the alton towers tickets, however if you are going to do other things with your clubcard points that utilise the x4 value, then better to use the buy-on-get-on-free vouchers that float around for Alton Towers as then it is costing you £16.

Does that explain things a bit better?

Does that explain things a bit better?

well yes it does, its costing £8 like the OP said basically, and you're trying to confuse it for whatever reason, doesnt really matter about the other deals the post states alton towers tickets for the equivalent of £8 its agood deal no matter how you look at it if you were going anyway
#27
Why waste these on Alton Towers. For just £500ish in Tesco vouchers you can get a 7 day cruise to the Norwegian fjords for two on the Oriana in a decent cabin.

huh? I was trying to explain the full situation surrounding the deal and I'm not confusing anything! All I said was:
a) if you are someone who doesn't use their clubcard points to their full value, then its an ok deal
b) otherwise, there are better value uses for them

I haven't critised the original poster, well done for posting a deal mate, but however, it is important that people understand the full situation.
