Thank you for that:)

Hot deal apart from the time you get to alton towers and end up paying for the parking!

So do you just buy a £10 clubcard voucher and exchange it for a ticket into Alton Towers? .. i.e. You get in for £10?

Or does it mean you exchange £10 worth of points for £10 off your price into Alton Towers?
bonchai#4
£10 worth of tesco points will gain you one day admission ticket

I know right! Last time I went I just said I had lost the ticket and they didn't say anything :)

whats the deal here? it actually been better before where the points were worth 4x its value in rewards but now are only worth 3x so its actually worser.

You can get loads of tickets on Ebay or about a fiver each at the mo.I just got 2 for £8 plenty of dates to choose from!

You have always been able to exchange Clubcard points for Alton Towers tickets (and Blackpool Pleasure Beach). We've done this for both parks for the last few years, and as pointed out you only needed around £8 worth (4x value) until they reduced the value of your points recently (3x value) .

Wtf how is this a good deal? That's £10 of tesco clubcard vouchers which are worth 3x value at most places = £30. In the past these were worth £40 due to 4x.

This is the standard deal, nothing special here

I'd rather hunt down the buy one get one free offers which are readily available online

Now now kids let's play nice, no swearing. Totally agree with you though. It seems cheap taking the actual Alton Towers ticket prices into account but overall, its not exactly good value for the worth of your "hard earned" clubcard points. I'm still voting hot as it may be a nice way for some to use their points if Alton Towers is on their agenda with the kids this school break.

Would never go here again unless it was during school time.
Far too busy and far too long queuing for the big rides.
bbeettaa#13
Well it was an abbreviation :) I was just more annoyed at someone posted it for what I believe is not a good deal, always available and so on.

I can just think of much better ways to spend the points, e.g. Daytona karting. Each to their own I guess.

How come people are saying this is a standard deal? You get 4x the value with this offer not 3x which is what Tesco generally offer NOW. you can't compare this to old offers.

Alton Towers - Full Gate Price £40
josh1391#15
you can get a years merlin annual pass for £40 tesco vouchers, or did they change the price of that now?

These places seem oblivious to the fact that petrol costs have soared, so the cost of getting there is prohibitive, before we even talk about admission! Then they want you to pay to park!!!

We've simply abandoned all these mega-amusement/theme park destinations for this summer...choosing less busy destinations, that do not then charge for car parking!
Trickyjabs#18
Blimey, there's some right misserable pricks in here! ;)
Good deal

Just skint ones!

At the end of the day this is currently an excellent deal for anyone who intends to go to Alton Towers.

Previous clubcard deals no longer exist, and although paying for car parking is ridiculous it remains a seperate issue.

FULL STOP!
