Ok first post so please be gentle. My wife saw these in coop and got me two - I love amarone. When I got home I had to go back for a few more... it was just too tempting.

Tag said the offer was on until 31/12/2010 but I spoke to the manager and he thought it was a mistake - get it while it's going.

Good sums there!
Nice wine, well rounded Valpolicella, not quite worth the original asking price, but certainly well worth it at that price. Not for me as if i bought that much wine at once i would need to take a week off work to test it all !?!
I work it out at £4.75 a bottle if you bought 14. As you got 5% discount as well. Cracking deal
Great deal, lovely wine. Voted hot
Well done on that deal & great first post !!! :)
Hot post , thanks OP
Excellent deal - nice wine too
Amazing first deal - don't forget your Coop Card for your divi too though!! :)
The £15 original price is a joke bit £4.75 a bottle is a cracking price. Not a huge Valpolicella fan but good deal
Hold it!. Just been to two Coop branches and no sign of this offer. This wine is at about 16 quid and was confirmed by a scan. As I understand it they only produce a small amount of this stuff each year so it is unlikely to be available widely. I once during a trip to Italy visited about 50 wine shops in 15 towns and cities to look for this wine and only found one dealer (oddly in the actual area it's grown) with any. On asking the wine merchant shrugged his shoulders and said "That's for display only and it's reserved for me!"
Given the price tag, this is prob' a clearance line, and the high value means it's probably only stocked in affluent areas. No chance of me getting it then...X)

@ moob. I guess you live in an effluent area then ;-)
tried to grab some today, tried 3 different ones around east devon ( a reasonable expensive place) and none to be had. im off out in a bit to get the food shopping so may see if there is any at a large branch in exeter

Not quite mate...but you're never far enough away! X)
I was in my nearest Co-op at 10am on the button for booze opening hours. Having fought past the Special Brewers looking for breakfast I discovered no Amarone :(

Great deal for those lucky enough to find it though, my heat added but with a heavy heart.
I found it in our Co-op but it was £15.25 each bottle. I got them to scan 2 bottles but no deal ...Boo
Same here. Two bottles scanned at £15.25 each. The bottles were 2006. Boo hoo.
Just to let you know, Midlands co-operative are a member and part of THE co-operative group family, however they operate completely independently from The Group. Thus meaning they have different promotions. This deal must only be a part of the Midlands Co-op. Find your nearest store here http://www.midlandsco-op.com

Good deal if you live in the midlands near one of these co-ops :-)
