Boots have got a brilliant deal on the excellent Maclaren Techno XT at the moment. A friend was looking for the best price on one of these less than a month ago and the cheapest we could find it was £135 so this is a greagt bargain. I have had one for 4 years and it is still going strong.

They are also offering double Boots points on this.

This is my first post and I can't work out how to put a picture on.

Pretty good. We've got the Bruin I Love My Bear buggy from Babies R Us and that's also very good. Also comes with a great footmuff for £69.99 all in. Our 4 month old loves it.

Hot! This buggy is so well built! I got through about three buggies for my son but my neighbour had this and it lasted forever!
#5

have read elsewhere that if you spend over £75 you get 1500 extra points. So,Techno XT for £86.12 with a total of 2188 points which are worth £21 Therefore effectively the pram is £65. Is that correct?

HOT HOT HOT!!
This is a fantastic buggy - I got a second hand one off ebay and after postage paid close to this!
#9
I love Maclaren buggys, would really recommend this. They seem to last so much longer than Mothercare etc.. strollers. Great price.

thank you!!!!!!! i've been looking for a pushchair for a while now and this is a bargain as it was double points and i added an extra 750 points so i got about £28 worth of points
#11
If you have a newborn it's easier to get an all in one travel system with a car seat and then buy an autobase (generally Graco). Otherwise, good for a pushchair... mine's a cheapy, was half price from argos, the Kangoo... it's lasted well... don't understand why people go through so many! Plus they get skanky after afew years, time for a new one, no?!

If you're in the market for a buggy from birth up to toddler - do not look any further and go get this one now. There's nothing better on the market, this solid and lightweight stroller buggy is superb.

Super duper hot + rep added.

I have the Techno XLR bought as a travel system from John Lewis. The pushchair is amazing and so sturdy, u would b surprised how much shopping u can cram on or under it. The XT is just as good and with all these points not to be missed out on. I wouldn't however by the XLR as a travel system as I had 3 car seats break on me before my daughter was 6 months old.

I love Maclaren, my mum had them with me 34 years ago, I had them with my first daughter 12 years ago and now again with this baby.
Go for it

I think the all in one travel systems are just too heavy when you have a toddler. I had one for my first little one and after she was too big for the car seat, I resorted to one of these.

This is a fab price and will be purchasing, as need another one for new addition.
Thanks OP

They used to but don't seem to be able to do it now:x

Just got one with £29 worth of bonus points, bargain !

This buggy is EXCELLENT for tall people!

We had a Mamas & Papas buggy which was very good, but so low down that it gave me a bad back pushing it! My wife found it too low as well, and she's not even as tall as me. So we ended up buying twice :(

The money we spent on the Maclaren Techno XT was certainly money well spent. If you're tall, buy this without hesitation!!

added code GGXS75

Amazing price, we spent about this much on a Maclaren Triumph in May this year... had a shed load of Advantage card points - but so does this.
If you need one buy this!
#25
what makes this one so much better than the other 2 on boots for £62? (maclaren quest sport & triumph)?

looks like a great deal, but can someone explain the advantages of this one over the others?

yeah but what u do is get an all in one for them when they're a baby, then get a normal pushchair, no need to spend so much. we saved our all in one for the next one! wouldn't do without my car seat and autobase for a small one. sis in law had one of these, she doesn't use it anymore, not sure why... fashion victim me thinks, got to always have a new one lol

I am sooooo gutted we just bought one, my husband is really upset with me!

I don't believe this wife-of-mine. It just goes to show it IS worth leaving things till the last minute...especially before you buy something (we didn't actually need this until late December). Grrrrrrr.
Only ever buy a deal when it's a HOTUKDEAL :w00t:

It appears the site (Boots that is) has gone into meltdown lol...they'd better be careful- there are lots of angry mummies wanting to get their hands on these Maclarens!!

I'm only 5'1 and it's good for me too, I went through loads of pushchairs before I got it but this is the best, Cost me about £140 from Kiddicare about a year ago & that was a bargain at the time.

Pretty good. We've got the Bruin I Love My Bear buggy from Babies R Us and that's also very good. Also comes with a great footmuff for £69.99 all in. Our 4 month old loves it.

We have that one as well. It's pretty good for the price (I paid 35quid for it, although we don't have the footmuff), however, this maclaren looks a lot better - it's more comfortable with the child - particularly with the harness straps (the bruin ones don't have any padding on them plus they tend to tangle easily); there's also padding behind the child's head on the maclaren. Finally, the maclaren is much lighter than the Bruin and other cheaper strollers since they use a more expensive material - i.e. aluminium to construct the frame.

I can't get on the site either!
