You've put 13/03 instead of 13/04 as the expiry so it's auto-expired itself!

can't edit, have reported to un expire !!!

Where's the sale? The link just goes to the normal Electronics and Computing index, and there doesn't seem to be any mention of a sale. Has it started?

To quote the email:
Must End Sunday: Electronics one week only deals + 1GB MP3 players from £7.49 at Amazon.co.uk‏

Maybe the ''usual offers'' like watches at 50% off etc !!! :whistling:

Maybe it'll start at midnight or something.

Probably a load of bargains like this one.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/DeWalt-DC997KA-Combi-Drill-18V/dp/B00074EP1O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=diytools&qid=1207518603&sr=1-1

With an RRP far in excess of what ANYONE sells them for.

With tricks like this Amazon are fast losing me as a customer - and I have purchased LOADS of stuff from them.

......and when you Email them to complain you get a standard reply from someone that cannot be bothered to actually READ the Email that you sent. Not the kind of business that I am used to.

Yeah nothing is more annoying than sales which are just marketing hype...

Gone midnight, the Amazon Deals of the Week have been posted, but still no sale, still no weekly deal on an mp3 player. hmmmmm...

Yet this thread has been voted 61 degrees hot already. LOL :w00t:

Indeed, seems to be a regular occurance with Amazon judging from the emails I get regularly (which usually are about the Electronics section too).

Amazon are getting worse and worse - they used to be the no. 1 retailer in the UK no question - best prices and fantastic service, but they've been getting steadily worse and worse - I find myself ordering less and less from them - they need to buck their ideas up.

I can sympathise with this, I emailed about a Wiimote that came with my Wii at xmas and has now gone tights up! just the controller, but they constantly didnt read my email and kept saying they would replace the system if nintendo didnt, as it was just the remote i replied so many time, ended up phoning them, and complained to the supervisor, who i think was just the guys brother at the other end of the shed they were working in!

In the end i got the price of a wiimote credited to my account. but this meant i had to wait for them to come into stock which low and behold wasnt till mid february!

All employees seem like they are from asia, none in the uk, I remember having a conversation via email at 4 in the morning as i recieved a reply at this time..

Tbh, i havent ordered from them since, and i spent a lot of money with them at xmas. a few things had to be sent back which is ok if you dont have to speak to them.

Same here amazon used to be one of the first places I would look, now its about the last!
#13
still no sign of a sale....?

Once upon a time amazon were offering good prices with good, not like a big nasty organisation type service.

Now they've become yet another big nasty organisation so that they change the price of goods whilst they're in your basket (not really that honest a move), Asain call centres and irrelevant stock email replies which basically read "we don't want the costs associated with actually giving a sh**".

There is still the odd bargain but normally they only match that of other retailers, so I'm now voting with my feet and buyig from the others e.g. play etc.
