I'm afraid these nest-of-saws type are crap, you can also find them for £1 in most diy stores.

Aldi have some better hole saws in at present if you need one.

bosch or not bosch they are crap... Better buy solid holesaw set and save a lot of hassle in work...

Don't think so.

If you plan on using them to drill the large holes required for ceiling lights etc they be just fine but if you plan on using them to drill holes in timber you'll only get a couple of holes out of them before they go blunt.

Yup, these are carp I am afraid...

I have used ones like these before, they are fine for the casual DIY'er and for that purpose do you want to spend anymore? Also the reviews arent bad.

As for buying them for a £1 at most DIY stores Ive looked online and instore and found them nowhere near this price let alone branded

I can't believe this is bosch - As a rule bosch hole saws are the best and the only brand I buy but as previous posts have said it doesn't really matter who made them these are cheep sprung steel things.

Probably much better quality than a pound shop version, a good buy for a diy'er for a one hit job in plaster board (fitting down lights) but thats it.

For versatility, longevity and safety invest in a decent set of hole saws with an industry standard arbor.

They are NOT £1 in DIY stores...check all before....nowhere near....suggest you check you will be shocked nearer £6-20 each...i know because unlike you i checked recently...you obviously check in 1990..some people

having said that aldi ones look good value for diyers...similar bosch metal ones in B&Q cost about £20-40 with all the parts (though they are prob better quality)

They are in homebase in the cheap crap piles next to the tills. Not bosch, but the same nasty fitting. I've used both types of holesaws, trust me using one of these is like using a spanner to knock in a nail.

The aldi ones sold like hot cakes, they had loads in my local store, not a one left now. I intended to go back and pickup of of the carbide sets :(
