Great deal! The only thing is, I don't see how Amazon can have a sale of those books they don't have in stock. I am guessing that they will honour the price!

I bought 6 books so thanks! Have done it before and sometimes they cancel the order as they're never in stock and just get one delayed message after another. Am hopeful this time as they said they're all in stock though.

Hello all. Please be aware I've encountered a problem with Amazon already. They sent me an e-mail today stating 5 of the books from my order were unavailable which meant that my remaining items only totalled £12.39. I then logged on to Amazon to see what was being despatched and to my anger they have charged me £8.06 for delivery so now my order is costing £20.45. I have sent them an e-mail to complain about not being able to cancel the order or being given the option to add to my order since it was their stocking shortage which lead to my order being under the £15 free delivery offer.

If you have placed an order which qualified for the free delivery and they send you an e-mail stating some books/items are unavailable then I would check to see if Amazon has charged you for delivery.

I said in another thread - I got free Next Day Delivery with the whole Hellman's Book thing back in December. I had an email to say they couldn't supply the book and had removed it from my order - therefore I had an £8.99 charge added to my order.

I phoned them up, explained, and the first thing the guy said after "Hello" was "Okay, that charge has now been removed."

Call 'em!

Tried that but being a Saturday there's no answer (probably all at home watching Eurovision Song Contest). Will try again tomorrow. It's bugging me now and I probably won't sleep tonight thinking about it. Really wish I could bishbash them now!

Send an email to Customer Support. I was landed with a £5.70 delivery charge. They responded within a few hours to apologise and tell me that my account had been credited with the amount.
