About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This is valid on a spend of over £50.

It just worked for me on some shoes

How to Claim:

Add any Qualifying Items with a combined value of £50 or more (the “Minimum Purchase”) to your Shopping Basket via the “Add to Basket” button. You cannot use the 1-Click ordering method when redeeming a promotional code.

When you’re done shopping, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button.

At checkout, enter the promotional code (BIGTHANKS) in the “Gift Cards and Promotional Codes” box. The Offer will then be applied to your order, reducing the cost of your total order value by £10.

Spend £50 or more in a single transaction (on a single item or on multiple items) dispatched from and sold by Amazon at the website amazon.co.uk (“Qualifying Items”) and £10 will be deducted from your total order value when you enter promotional code BIGTHANKS at checkout (the “Offer”). This Offer applies only to products dispatched from and sold by Amazon, excluding baby formula, digital products (Audible, Digital Documents, Digital Video Download, Digital Music Service, Digital EBook Purchase, Digital Software, Digital Video Games, Mobile Apps), alcoholic drinks, gift cards (Gift Card, Gift Certificates, etc.) and delivery and handling charges. It cannot be redeemed on products sold by Amazon US or Amazon.co.uk Marketplace platform (including items Fulfilled by Amazon), at any of Amazon.co.uk’s Trusted Partner sites or at any other Amazon site, for example Amazon.com, Amazon.de, Amazon.es, Amazon.fr or Amazon.it. Each customer may claim a maximum of one Offer. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional codes or on any pre-existing orders. This Offer ends at 23:59 GMT on Friday, 20 January, 2017.

Ensure that you have £50 or more worth of items sold and dispatched by Amazon in your basket. Items which are sold and dispatched directly by Amazon.co.uk can be identified by the message "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon" on the product detail page. Please note that items described as “Dispatched from and sold by Amazon US” are not sold and dispatched by Amazon.co.uk and are therefore not eligible for this Offer.

Lower interest rates lead to weaker currencies and vice versa. Why do you … Lower interest rates lead to weaker currencies and vice versa. Why do you think the $ is rising against ALL currencies? You've been listening to some bankers and/or daft Economists again haven't you!?

There was something else that had a bigger impact on the strength of the Pound. I wonder what that might have been... something that only a small percentage of the population voted for... I forget what we called it now.

    Weird...

I ended up buying nothing for the reason I posted earlier. All my past orders or products I'm interested in have been jacked up in price by more than 20%. Whilst I voted Hot; on reflection...this deal isn't worth 7K+ unless you're lucky to have found an item (after hours searching) you want/need and hasn't had it's price inflated.

Anyone got any suggestions for cheap Amazon items to get cart over … Anyone got any suggestions for cheap Amazon items to get cart over £49.99? Struggling to find any other than silly tweezers

Depends on what you regard as useful I suppose but here's a few suggestions...mind you even if you don't particularly want tweezers/sim cards/pens/tape measure etc you'd still be in pocket as you're getting £10 off over £50 so does it really matter what the cheap item is and whether it is useful at the end of the day?

Had another idea....why not get a packet of cat food for 40p and donate it to a local animal charity if you don't have a cat?

    amazon.co.uk/Fel…ood

Reason I say the cat food is it's cheaper than the single packets of dog food....no bias towards cats was involved in the reply

Hate these deals. Go mad looking for stuff to guy. Can't find anything.

Moment it ends remember something I really want.

20% off £50 sounds great until you remember that there are plenty of sales still running at other retailers who are up to 50% off or at final clearance stages.

Google Shopping that item before you checkout for a comparison.

can you purchase an Amazon voucher ?

Good question, I'm surprised it hasn't been asked and answered on numerous occasions throughout the thread already. Its a shame the deal link doesn't take you to a page where any exclusions are listed so you could have checked quicker than actually posting the question

    Seriously though, no you can't.
