No saving here, it's been this price for ages.

I know because I've been looking at getting the DC25 Animal.

Freezing cold.

Same here, what I did in the end was join additions direct as they usually send you a £30 off code off your first £60 purchase. Then went through quidco 8%
So DC25 WAS £239 £30 off code brought it to £209 and I got £19 tracked in my quidco account.Total Price £190:thumbsup:

I've been thinking about getting one of these so I'd be interested in why you think it's rubbish?!

I don't think it fair to describe it as a rubbish cleaner but there are a range of options available for significantly less money.

The popular and excellent Numatic Henry can be got for round £90 for example.

Dyson's price premium isn't justifiable from a performance perspective so you are paying an awful lot more for the brand and the design.

i have had 4 dysons in about 10years ..all were used alot(i have dogs and am obsessed with hoovering!!)..they all died on me after around the 2 year mark ..so this time i decided to get a cheaper hoover from electrolux and its a stand up one, specific for pets and its totally garbage,id be faster getting a straw and sucking..i hate it ..so im going to go back to dysons, the cylinder ones though i cannot stand upright hoovers..

It was the Dysons that popped it not the dogs wasnt it!

I've had a Dyson for the last 5 years and had no problem - still going strong. I think the price is OK here and I'd have no problem buying another Dyson.

I'm trying out my neighbours DC24 Ball & it's FAB. Our last Dyson lasted 10 years, so how can they be rubbish.
I am after the animal, so might hold out for a while, but will be recommending the DC24 Ball to my mum. It's made our horrible flat pile hall carpet look *almost* acceptable (it's rose pink, so not much hope for it!)
