I've bought too many 'cheap' wireless door bells and they have all failed within 4 months.
I won't vote cold as This wasn't one of the ones I tried. It's a good price ..... If it works...... and stays working......

Good luck anyone who buys them.

good price...but if using exposed to environment (normal) then cover the button with clear tape...my first one just disintegrated after 6months and the button was exposed causing false rings.

What's a good quality make? I only have 1 x chime and want to replace it with 2 or 3.

I highly recommend Lloytron doorbells/chimes. The one we have (as does my mother) is this.

No issues in several years of use, and the push button is hard plastic so won't perish like the rubber ones. The only minor downside is that it takes 1xA23 size battery in the bell push. I wish they had made it with either AA batteries (like the receiver) or AAA batteries, as we tend to have these lying around the house.

I've now got a friedland D904 - recommended by my brother who has had his for a couple of years with no issues.
I've had a Lloyton one before, and it didn't last long, it was fine so long as the chime was <1m away from the bell push!!

Our chime is approx 4-5m away from the door and never fails to work unless the batteries in the chime are low on juice.

I have this door bell. I have had it for 2 months now. So far so good.
However I would like to point out that the battery the bell push uses is one 24A/L1028 battery. Not as easy to find in stores as AAA battery.

We've had it for about 3 years and hasn't failed once. In fact the batteries on the cordless one are still going. I give it 10/10 for performance and 8.5/10 for loudness, though we have unusually spaced brick walls blocking the sound.
