Incredibly thin and light, the Fire HD 10 is a feature-packed tablet that gives you access to millions of movies, TV episodes, songs, books, apps, games, and more. Fire HD 10 comes equipped with a 10.1-inch widescreen (1280x800) high definition display, which offers a great viewing experience from any angle. Thanks to a powerful Quad-Core 1.5 GHz processor, the Fire HD 10 delivers quick app launch times, smooth games and videos, and a great overall performance.

The Fire HD 10 comes with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera that allows for high-resolution photos and 1080p HD video. The front-facing 720p HD camera is perfect for video chatting with friends and family over Skype. Also, with up to 128GB of expandable storage, and free cloud storage for Amazon content, the Fire HD makes it easy to keep all your content close at hand.

Delivering quick access to the things you do most, the updated interface on the Fire HD includes dedicated pages for books, apps, video, music, and audiobooks. The Second Screen function enables you to make your television the primary screen to watch a movie or TV show, while controlling the video from your Fire HD 10. Furthermore, when you tap the Mayday button on your Fire HD you can connect to an Amazon Tech advisor who will guide you through any feature on the tablet.

A brilliant multitask device, the Fire HD 10 tablet has all the looks, power, fluid performance and speed that you need. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that provides up to 8 hours of reading, surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, and listening to music.

Love my kindle fire 6 HD that I got from Tesco but really could do with a higher resolution for a 10.1

For watching videos, Amazon tablets are great, or for browsing the web. But if you want to use apps, it quickly becomes obvious that the store is a disaster. Even the Facebook app is out of date and full of bugs. And for the same price, you can get a decent Android tablet.

Bit of advice please, looking at buying the kids
a 10 inch tablet for Christmas around the £100-150 price range. Comparing the 10 inch Lenovo to this and the Samsung Galaxy tab E, which is the better?, thanks

Samsung Galaxy tab E is the best - When comparing head to head.
However the price point usally sways buyers one way or the other.

If you can wait a little more then I would watch this space as the Amazon 10" tablet is not a big seller, mainly due to the price.
Amazon will lower the price of this soon as otherwise it will just end up being discontinued just like the Amazon Fire Phone.
The price needs to be £100 for it to be a success like the other Amazon Fire Tablets of various sizes.

Remember to factor in how incredibly easy it is to install google playstore on these Amazon tabs.
In fact I am typing this on a fire 7 with full playstore installed.
You get the best of both ecosystems and being a prime member myself I do find it useful.

Hi, I bought the 10 inch lenova A10-30 from argos the other day for £98.99 and it is great for the money, very thin and good clear screen. I bought a 7 inch fire hd at the same time and am not overly impressed with the amazon app store or the layout of the tablet, it isn't bad but isn't great either.

I love my Lenovo Tab 2 full HD screen, but this tablet is quite flimsy. You might want something more robust or kids.
If I were you, I would wait till December. You still have plenty of time.
