Good Price. Its time these started coming down in price.
#2
good price, as girlznight's price has gone up to £93 with 3 'free gifts'
#3
cold. Our local hair dressers are doing them for £75 for these and £95 for the rare. They are running the GHD £20 off promotion. Bought a pair last month and they are perfect (and real!)
#4
i know two stylists that are running the £20 off, but the £20 is off the price of £116.49, so amazon is still hotter.

Are Ghd's REALLY that much better at straightening very thick hair than other brands? Owning some Babylis straightners that cost £20 (which are pretty average on very thick hair), it's a lot more money so would like some feedback before considering these!!
Thanks

I could not live without my GHD's - they turn my frizzy thick hair is sleek straight hair - even took them camping with me LOL :)

After using a couple of other makes in the past I really do think these are far better and i have very wavy hair
I will never buy any other make and would pay this again when my eventually need replacing. I have had mine about 2 years with no problems.

If you have the money I dont think you will be disappointed.

My sister recons hers don't get as hot anymore and wants new ones, waste of money tbh.

If they are under 2 years old she should contact GHD.

How stupid. if it's a straightener then how can it curl. and who spends all this moolah to straigten their hair? please....

I'm guessing a flick is a piece of hair which pops out? lol, considering from other people's reaction on this forums and from lunch hour today, I would say I have spent 23 years being oblivious to how important this thing is in a person's life. Boy or girl. Yet when I used to watch commercials for this stuff, I used to think "boy that will never sell".

Then again I thought that of amy winehouse as well....:?

I dare you to put a picture up with your "flicks".

Are the ones in this deal the same ones that are on the GHD website at £79.00? Also in pink for £79....

you rotate the styler as you do each section - you get proper curls which are better than any I've got from any rollers or curling tongs and they last until you wash your hair. Amazing but true.

I've repaired quite a few GHD's and don't really understand what is so special about them because when you take them to bits they are a very simple basic thing that is easy to manufacture cheaply. But everyone I speak to says they are much better than anything else, so I guess the competition must be really poor.

I got some corioliss straighteners a couple of years ago which rumour has it are made in the same factory as GHDs by the same people. Now I owned a pair of GHDs prior to these and I have to say I can't tell any difference between them, they look the same, work the same etc. They are not as good as the mark 4 ones though which my friend has got.

But this isn't direct from Amazon, it's "Dispatched from and sold by Pauls Hair World LTD". I have no knowledge of them but there are a lot of fake GHDs going around, see:
