Is that like Amazon Prime day? I bought a refurbished laptop, the price was about average, but it did not charge. Went straight back (and it took 2 weeks to get my money back). I then got the same model on ebay for less money, and it works.

Sorry, I think they are just offloading old stock with inflated discounts.

the fire Hd10 seems to vary in price depending on colour, is that correct?
the black 16gb is currently £139.99 so would go down to approx £110, is this tablet a good buy at this price point?

Based on one experience? I mean sure, this is why you have this site, to help you find really good deals.

They are always going to have a lot of stuff which are not so great...

Also you didn't mention that if the same thing happened with your eBay purchase you definitely wouldn't have the same service (I. E. You would be liable for return costs assuming they would take it). That said I am glad it worked out for you.

Amazon Warehouse deals, where you play Russian roulette with 3 barrels loaded. So 50/50 you get a good deal but as they are all blanks, you're pretty safe if it all goes against you.

I was thinking the same, but I think it has already been reduced, and the price is and will be 139.99

Indeed. Well aged consumer electronics at inflated discounts.

The cynic in me thinks the price will revert to norm then be discounted.... but you never know.

was waiting for the Philips Hue kit to be reduced again like on Prime day but sadly it isn't.
edit: just noticed it doesn't start for another 2 days (_;)

I agree. Especially as they're already advertising it as having £15 off at £64.99, so surely £49.99 would be advertised as £30 off.

Will the Fire TV Stick be discounted? Or just the fire tv

Glad I saw this! Ordered a 40" TV yesterday and just cancelled in time. Hopefully the same or better will be cheaper on Saturday.

I just read the description of each individual warehouse item to see which is best quality, never had trouble.

Am craving a 4K OLED tv with HDR and all that but I think I'm just being drawn in by upgradeitis. Can someone tell me it's not worth it/too expensive and to leave for a few years?

Doesn't look like an Amazon Warehouse sale though. Looks like a site-wide sale

You must've missed my point above. I'm going to buy all the TVS and just sell them. I'm on nights for another 3, so I'm going to keep pressing the refresh button before the sale begins. Let me know what you want though and I'll give you a price :)

Was about to buy a fire TV stick. Will hold out now. Thanks OP

bought a 43" sony off amazon warehouse, screen had 2 big cracks in it when it arrived. as if it had been kicked twice. ao.com have much better delivery vans. they have cameras inside them to ensure they aren't being used as footballs they also open the box in front of you to make sure you are happy before you sign for it, they then take a picture of the screen for the company to verify it arrived safely. amazon's delivery service they just drop it off then you have to waste time getting a refund and faffing about.

I don't think it's completely safe if you return a lot of stuff. Risk getting suspended or even banned.

True but at the same time only buy stuff you may want and are willing for it to not be pristine.

Always take photos of some form of evidence which will help your case. They won't complain from my experience. In fact they've even offered to knock off the price even further if I wanted to keep the item.
One case I bought a corsair keyboard for a pretty good price but one key cap was slightly dented and they knocked off a further 12% or something which was sweet and the fact corsair will send replacements hassle free makes it better.

If you have a valid reason to complain/return they won't any right to suspend or ban you, especially if you've got proof.
Also the description gives you an indication, such as damaged box or scratches. Think having £20 off the original price for a damaged box is worth it.

Bought a kindle paperwhite from amazon warehouse 2 weeks ago for £67.49, now listed at £81.66 (same condition). Call me cynical but big increase before a possible promotion, time will tell.
