oos at this price
enjoyed the game, pity they didnt keep the servers for multiplayer open for long, should have kept them at least until 2018. Can't remember if they got my teams kit right in this or not as it has been awhile since I played it.

Cheers! Bargain price, perfect for my little brother :)

It really isn't that bad. I bought it for £13 on PSN. Looks like its going cold so I'm retiring for the night.

Gonna take the other half to the pub for a couple ;)

I have to admit I skipped it when it came out, mainly due to the world cup expansion on FUT. However for this price it would be rude not too :D
bought. nice one

Dont bother, you'll get fed up with hearing the word "Neato", and constant mashing the X button on the ps3 controller.

I struggle to justify buying this for £4 in the sale.

The real time AND turn based combined combat system is just frustrating...

You on drugs? This game is amazing, should release it on PSN on PS4, must buy for RPG fans.

im looking forward to playing it in 4k on a ps3 emulator in a few years :)

The combat was not that good. But the world, atmosphere, graphics and art style were incredible. And it had some genuinely humorous, and touching moments. It is possible to play the game with the JPN soundtrack, so you won't get so sick of the "neato" (which I don't think was that annoying anyway, he's only a kid, an idealised American kid at that, so it fitted in with the characterisation. Not really any more annoying than the kids in ET or something). But the English voice acting was really good for once. Even I'll admit though, towards the very end, I was just rushing through it to see what happens. But it felt like a life boat in a stormy sea of mediocrity at the time. It's certainly worth a look, especially at this sort of price.

Iv heard mixed opinions on the combat, me i loved it, remembered me of shining of the holy ark on sega saturn, with the tiny creatures.
It wasn't bad. It just wasn't great. There are other games that have done the turn based/action combat hybrid thing much better. It would have been more fluid and involving if they just stuck to one or the other. The combat is a bit of a bum note more so because the rest of the game is so good. And since you're going to be spending a significant time in combat, it takes its toll on you eventually. But still, the experience is worth it.
