Saeco HD8750/18 Intuita Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine, Black £199.00 @ Amazon / Tribal UK

Saeco HD8750/18 Intuita Bean-to-Cup. Same as available at John Lewis for £249 currently. I nearly bought one then but held back and I am still on the fence but seems a good price for one delivered.

even a stovetop percolator is a preferable option for me
Assuming you have a gas hob I'd agree, damn my halogen one...

Nah it'll work on halogen or if you get a stainless steel one, induction. I have an induction hob and use them
Love this machine ready. Best 200 quid I have spent.

We currently use Tassimo which makes a nicer coffee than our cafetiere in my opinion. This went hot at £249 last week too.
I agree they are expensive which is why I have not bitten the bullet as yet but getting tempted. Just worried it will last 2 mins etc.

We have similar like this. I already had cafeterie, after my saecxo machine, Ive never used that.
Mine arrived today. They sent a silver HD8750/88 instead of a black HD8750/18 lol. Not bothered as the silver looks nice and its an higher model with auto milk frother!

Coffee tastes so much better than Tassimo with the Rave Mocha Java beans. Got quite a few different beans to try yet too. Well pleased.
great coffee machine, good price too! I pay a bit cheaper £125 coz I purchased it from ex display John Lewis

Point taken lol
Yay!!

Why waste your money on these LG, they'll be really flimsy and sound tinny. Avoid unknown brands, imagine the Sony headphones you could get at this price.

Hopefully getting rid of these so Starbucks can pull out and go back to providing tassimo pods like the good old days!
Apparently you can't use K-cups in this machine? Can anyone confirm or deny? The verismo pods themselves are pretty expensive
Bargain :)
We have one of these when they first came out. Much better than our tassimo the Pods are cheep if you buy the k-cup ones. Heat added

Extra £109 to upgrade the co-op one to 5 year guarantee.

I'd go for the JL option personally.

I got my TV from them. They allow various delivery windows although you do have to pay a little extra if you want to narrow it to a 1 hour slot I think. I didn't. Took the free option. But they text on the day with an estimated time and then the driver actually texted again to let me know they were 20 minutes away. Can't fault them for service.
