£400 brand new in Vodafone
Can you please tell me which Vodafone . I want to get this phone for my son's 18th and haven't seen anything below £450 for phones that aren't imports. Thanks
The one I spotted was in the Vodafone store in Victoria train station (London). Hope that helps!
Thanks, just went to my local store and although it said £400 pay as you go plus £10 top up. I asked the guy and he said they don't have them except on contract and it may be possible to order one in, but that would of course be locked to Vodafone. Will just have to get the £450 one I guess, as I've tried everywhere. Thanks for getting back to me anyway.
Ah sorry about that! Why are you picking a G5 out of interest?
No problem, it's my sons choice. He says it's got a great camera, great graphics and processor and huge storage (via SD) and removable battery. I know some people say it looks ugly but it's what it does that counts to him.

I looked at the G5 for my son and imho the G4 is as good apart from the odd add ons plus it's better vfm
Just my opinion

Same price as a refurb from Apple. Would rather buy from Apple.

You would rather buy a refurb over brand new even with a trusted Amazon seller?

Girl you crazy

Same price from isme at the moment (as they give £150 credit to your account).
Anybody know what's wrong with a seller through Amazon,Amazon have always forced sellers to completely cooperate on the rare occasion I have had a problem. Also is there something wrong with GB Buddy? They have 97% rating.

reposted as HDUK removed last post for no good reason.

If you take a look at your PMs you should have one from another mod why it was removed previously (The seller was unsuitable)

Also updated this seller as this is not sold by Apple but GB Buddy. Thanks

Better off buying the newest 2014 version using education store discount.

Just bought one of these, Apple Certified Refurbished from the US store and love it. This is a great price, voted hot.
What other costs were involved with your US order shipping import duty?
Is it easy to do , seems very good price at current x rates.
Wtf does every posting of anything Apple produce so much vitriol ? If you don't like Apple don't buy Apple but the constant attacking smacks very much of a strong case of inferiority complex.
And before you have a go at me I've bought a Nexus 5 for £240 with a deal I found on here because the scree is big and the price is right.

They are like new mate and if you buy just after a refresh it will most likely be new stock and not a refurb.
can anyone give m a real insight into the refurbshed macs from apple ? im thinking of getting one. are they scratched or are they near as new. i just thoght if im spending that much i want i pristine so why not spend a bit more to get the new one but if its not comsmetically damaged i go for refurb. any info would be great, thanks
agree with corgi, good deals on apple refurbs atm
Only slightly more as an Apple refurb. UK spec with a 12 months warranty

You've updated your post to show "GB Buddy" as the seller. Feedback is just as worrying:
I bought this new from you but Apple tell me it has already been registered to someone else and had previously been bought directly from them on 17th January 2014. I bought it 'new' from GB Buddy on 7th April. Clearly it was not.

Macbook Air 11" 2013 NEW £691.99 Amazon Marketplace sold by GB Buddy

Good price for a macbook air. Bear in mind new models have just come out for £750, however all they are is a 0.1ghz processor increase which is literally nothing if you're using this for web browsing/…

Matt mate... in future when asked that question (i.e. do any of your deals go hot)

click the guys name and discover why someone has been a member for 6 years and posted 0 deals....

Exactly! I'm not an avid 'hotuker' as some may say and I did use the term 'I wonder if' and not 'I bet that' because it was a question of something that I don't know, not a statement which if it was, would probably be wrong!

Lulz @ the Apple product development department; The "all new" Mac Book Air, we've put a new oscillator in so the CPU runs 100Mhz faster. And we want to charge you fan boys an extra hundred and odd pounds for this breakthrough development.. :p

Not even gonna be the new intel processor haswell refresh either, totally not worth it, bta it is cheaper I guess

Will Nokia honour it's 2 year warranty on these imported devices?
yes

No, no, no, no..
Nokia uk will NOT honour the warranty. Please check your facts before posting this rubbish. I learnt the hard way by buying one from a marketplace seller on Amazon and when I called Nokia about a small issue, I was asked for the imei number and then told that it was Malaysian import and carried no warranty in the uk. Luckily, as it was just a couple of days old, I sent it back to Amazon and they refunded me.
These phones are NOT under Nokia UK warranty. A simple call to Nokia will confirm everything that I've said.
It'd be like using an iPad mini as a phone. Will look ridiculous
*not a refurb

I used the code to check it's call lifetime and it was at 0 so.
Yeah it was an import. Not returned as far as I could tell, but the lack of IMEI sticker on the box bothered me more than the fact it was a HK import. I returned it.

It's actually very hard to find a Lumia 1520 that's not a HK import unless you pay £550+ at clove or something. I thought I had found one for £450 and after an email discovered it was going to ship from HK..... the thing is no one tells you this up front. They all hide behind their own 1 year warrenty which is worth squat really. Random marketplace seller says you have a year warranty with them. Oh I feel so reassured.

I ended up spending £378 on a HK import from wowcamera (on amazon) in yellow. At least I got the colour I wanted. It arrived with IMEI stickers on the box too. And a dubiously unofficial looking 'seal' on the box but. What can you do? No instructions either. Looks like they pull those out the box for some reason (seems to be universal).

Took delivery of the Amazon Fulfilled order (£390). Not had a chance to inbox yet but I did notice something slightly off. No imei code etc on the box bottom or nokia seal. Hmmmmm. Just a generic sticker with the amazon description. Not looking good, could be a refurb :/

Could you please update us?

It'd be a big middle finger to customers if they did release it in July, in my opinion. I expected the price of this device to stay high, instead it's steadily dropped. There better not be any new phone releases either

Why would it? :S Yearly product release is the norm now

Hmm. I didn't realise it had come out so early in the US. I just remember it coming out middle of September, and most people will have got one around Christmas time. To hear announcements of new stuff is annoying
BTW, the N7-2013 Ubuntu images are going to-be released before 14.04,april.
which makes this interesting.
You are going to need a screen-protector and watch this skill-thirsty video for a case.
Let me explain again, for those on the xda-forum, yur gunna need 3 Scr.protectors a year and I'd get a couple of the best case-s.
I would quite like an 8 inch over the 7 now. The LG has that sewn up at the moment IMO for Android. Needs more quality android competition.
Well the link is now going to the more pricey £170 with delivery, guess peeps have cleaned out Buddy's stock.
chriskrt
there is a space between RRP of Nexus 7 and Nexus 10... I dont think releasing Nexus 8 will have influence on nexus 7 price. Two different products...

The Nexus 7 won't exist anymore if the reports are anything to go by. The Nexus 8 exploits a market space, the 7 inch tablet space is too crowded

Custom ROM support is great too, and rooting is simple.

I was kinda under the impression the Knox flag kills the warranty if you flash a better ROM?

Great deal better than apple crap

Seems to get the same heat as an apple deal.
Great deal better than apple crap
They are terrific phones, but agree if you are not in a rush prices may well fall soon. The fact that you can (a) expand storage and (b) stick a spare battery in is a big plus over a lot of the competition. Custom ROM support is great too, and rooting is simple.

It's worth the money, but I'd be inclined to sit tight for a few months. I don't think prices will crash (S3 still hold their price well), but they should come down a bit in the coming months.
