are the kodak ones in poundland not zinc, if so, they are useless compared to the Duracell or indeed any other alkaline battery!

so its saying it has been charged already before you got it

If they had described as 'Ready Charged' or similar that would be correct.

Same as 'Preheat the oven to 200F' It's just 'heat'

i got a v5 battery out of halfords for £45
Duracell 8pks are always £2.99 in Savers (high street store) and they also do a 12pk for £3.99! I've never seen a better price than that anywhere else!
