just finished reading the reviews.
while not a complete failure like last time, I'd still prefer i3 3225. for anything more GPU intensive I'd get a dedicated card anyway.
but overall, it's a step forward for AMD and the pricing is relatively decent.
Good price and does everything you need it to for this price.

My question is can someone please recommend a reasonably priced PSU that would run this comfortably?

I use this one to run a quad core phenom and 6850, been running without fault for over a year.
That of course would have taken some effort, google doesn't type by itself, but still worth the extra mile I feel.
"Our pick of the sextet is the A10-5700; it nearly matches the range-topping A10-5800K in absolute performance yet ships with a significantly lower TDP of 65W"
So if you've no interest in overclocking it may be the better option. Not sure about these CPUs though. You also need a new motherboard so it may not be the best value for money option for some people looking to do an upgrade to their current PC.
Hallelujah!!!! Nice to have an AMD thread without Intel trolls crawling all over it!
I disagree. Real-world performance seems to be better with the 5800k. When you take real-world performance to be general internet stuff (which is what most people use their PCs for msot of the time), AMD offer better energy efficiency, and pretty much equal performance. Intel offer better high-end CPUs, but at this price point, with this chip, AMD have released something that's actually very good.

how exactly do AMD offer better efficiency on this 100W chip, when 3225 is 55W?
