I'm thinking to make a very small pc with something like this or the intel nuc (i3). It has to last a number of years, be small in size and consume little power, i'm swaying towards the intel but also considering making something with the fx6300.......

This would be really good in a fan-less setup; the GPU is more powerful than Intel's BayTrail and hopefully better and longer supported video drivers. Hot.

So cheap! Good for light gaming and for a HTPC... Steam PC maybe?

Worth it over a Pentium G3220 though? Any thoughts for a very budget gamer build?

Interesting how it uses Jaguar cores...would make sense that it could handle next gen console ports above its weight

The FX6300 would be a terrible option as you can only get micro atx boards at the smallest for it. I'd go for the Intel but look at the cheaper gigabyte brix instead

If you're pairing it with a graphics card, go with the Intel. Only way this option would be better is if you want to make use of the integrated graphics

Any cheap motherboard recommendations for this on Amazon? Can't seem to find any AM1 boards.
