Not expecting this to get high votes but I reckon someone might like it.

That 6300 has not come down in price two years ago paid £75 pretty sure you can get a new i3 skylake for the same price.

I paid £130 for that and a M5A97 2.0 motherboard 4 years ago. Now you're looking at £180.

A cracking CPU for 1920x1080 resolution gaming when paired with a decent GPU, I've not had any issues in 4 years of using one 8)

Yes but it's a dead socket. Just go I3, cooler chip, more modern chipset, plenty of upgrade options etc

The 8120 is on Zambezi, and the 6300 is on Vishera, I have the 8320 and it's been fine on everything i have thrown at it.

If you already have an FX compatible board it's a no brainer to get this over a slower chip while we wait for Zen so there's no extra expense involved on motherboard and Intel CPU that would cost about twice as much as this CPU 8)

Ive currently got a 1100t black edition CPU with 8gb ram and wanting to upgrade am I better to wait for Zen or go Intel. Would upgrading ram to 16gb make a difference? cheers

Hmmm, I splashed out on a 16GB kit and even with the most modern games I don't use half of it so I'd save the cash for Zen personally, I doubt that CPU is holding you back too much, those real 6 cores are no slouch 8)
