Ditto. Bought the 1-3 series for £25 and thought it a bargain. This is off the scale.
Far better than the badly misfiring FamGuy (the crap tedious Ricky Gervais on the latest episode was almost the last straw. If it wasn't for Lois and Meg....)
But even AmDad isn't always on the nose. It has an annoying habit of being very....gay some episodes.
When you have a sexy feminine character like Francine, thats a crime.
And yes, Roger IS funny, but what he got up to this last episode was nasty. All for a red wig too.....
Disagree. But i can understand the view. It WAS introducing itself. The episode (season 3 ?) where Hayley's conditioning makes her want to kill Stan was a classic. And any which deals with the delicious feminine Francine is gold to me.
Still believe Futurama to be the most consistently good.
The Simpsons has improved this last series, TBF.
Family Guy is....dismal.
Cleveland Show is 2nd to Futurama, AmDad 3rd, and then Simpsons. FamGuy is off the bottom of the page.

It was introducing itself but it was also still on the "Making jokes of republicans" thing and it didn't know what to do with Roger because he wasn't Mr Disguise then. It's not terrible, but it's nothing compared to the quality it has become. I'm just letting people know because I know a lot of people who gave it a chance, saw the first few eps and didn't carry on viewing, while those who did swear by it's greatness.

No no no. Don't misunderstand me. Its a valid view, as I said.
Republican yes, but thats at the heart of the whole idea of the show.
I think sometimes they go over the top on demonising the republican view.
I'm not right wing myself (or left for that matter - hate both sides equally) but it grates a little, thjat premise.
Enjoyed the bum fights episode of series one, for example.
