22/07 - No accessories available online. Your best bet is checking if your local store stocks any.

19/07 - Direct link to a £7 cleaning cloth that is available and working - http://www.sunglasshut.com/uk/8053672173161

17/07 - Update - looks like £4 accessories are sold out. Plenty of £5 accessory options available.

No minimum spend, with accessory items available from £4 that means a free accessory and £6 credit on your Amex statement!

Then, find what you wish to purchase - £4 (or if sold out £5) accessories available from this link. Their site is pretty awful to navigate, credit to myskepticsight for the help here.

You should receive an email confirmation from Amex shortly after the purchase....

Thanks. How did you even find that? The Accessories area of the website seems broken when you click on the link and the search seems awful.

It is an awful site. When I went to the accessories section I ticked the box for "Cleaners & Cloths" under the Category section and it loaded a page of Accessories, if you then scroll down there are some cleaning cloths (various colours) priced at £4. It says that is Page 1 of 3 but when I try to click onto another page of Accessories it gives me a blank page so I'm not sure if there are any other items that are cheaper than £4.
#10
Thanks - can view the items that way too. I don't see any cheaper than £4, looks good. A few bits for £5 or £6 that might be useful too. Received the confirmation 'Congratulations' email from American Express too. Have updated the OP and included link to the accessories and credited you for your help.

Thanks OP! Does anyone know if you can do this more than once if you have more than 1 card per a/c?

I believe so - it's per card(holder), not per account. Just make sure you register the second card separately of course.
#13
Can't beat free money!

Thanks OP!
#14
Thanks! All done got confirmation email from Amex that I'm getting £10. Ordered cleaning cloth too.
#15

I've got confirmation that my cleaning cloth has been despatched, it looks like they're using DPD so I feel bad as its probably cost them more to send it to me than the value of the item.

Good stuff.

Can only recommend people clear their cache and double check the guide in my reply to the OP if having issues. All looks ok for me still today and definitely working for some.

Also received text messages to confirm delivery for Monday. Transaction for the £4 shows in pending transactions now and I'd expect the £10 credit to show up in a few days time. Will confirm here when it does.

Thanks for this, cloth ordered. lol

Anyone know if AMEX are holding a small business day/event this year?
I think it was held in July last year. They also had a small business Saturday also later in the year.

Enjoy those clean glasses....and £6 8)

Hope they do do a Shop Small again in the UK this year. You're right, last year it was in July. The Small Business Saturday was then in December.

The 'Congratulations' email? That should have been within 5 mins of your purchase, pretty instant in all 3 cases for me. Definitely not in your spam?

ok I ve got the congrats email from sunglasses hut but not from amex regarding the £10 credit. Possibly due to weekend?

Just to clarify - after your place your order you'll get two emails:

1. The 'Congratulations' one as shown in my screenshot on page 1 of comments) sent from The American Express Network, subject line 'Congratulations. You have spent at Sunglass Hut.'. This will be sent to the email address you specified when registering your card with Amex for the offer.

2. An email to confirm your order is placed. To confuse matters, the subject line also includes 'Congratulations' - 'Congratulations! Your Sunglass Hut Order Confirmation: Order #12345678' sent from Sunglass Hut [email protected] This will be sent to the email address you used on Sunglass Hut when placing your order.

Hope that clears things up a bit. Did you only get #2?

The next thing that should happen is you'll see the transaction for Sunglass hut show up on your online statement, typically followed by the £10 credit a few days later. If this and the second email haven't shown up in a week's time I'd give Amex a call on the local Brighton number on the back of your card, they're pretty good at sorting things.

OK, I'd say give it a week and if the £10 credit hasn't shown up on your online transactions online give Amex a call on the local Brighton number on the back of your card. They're pretty good at getting things sorted.
