Odd, maybe a mistake by them. Looks like new cards can still be enrolled.

They ran it last year up until 31/12/2013. I'd only seen it advertised again yesterday, again running up until the end of this calendar year. Did it start again this year a while back?

You're right: looking back I did this towards the end of December (time flies - I thought it was only a few months ago).

Same here. I've sent them a message.

Just wondering what kind of AmEx cards are people using? Mine is Barclays and I am wondering if the problem is because it's new member of AmEx family and AmExNetwork is not updated yet.

Hopefully just a glitch. I'd already linked my cards (all issued from Amex), but I'm sure someone can confirm soon.

Thanks for that I'll wait for your reply before signing up, I did sign up one of my cards last year and got the cash back but I've got a new card now which I could use. I have the Virgin Atlantic Amex cards :)

I haven't got an answer yet (they did say 48 work hours).

As neither Barclaycard nor Amex cares, I put forward my enquiry through this link, in case anyone is interested:

No reports of payments through yet - although early days. I'm unable to use it myself as already linked my cards. Recommended to some friends and family too so I'll post back if I hear any updates from them. Ultimately though, what's to lose here? Just a couple of minutes to link your card, possibly open a TripAdvisor account and write up a very brief review on somewhere you've visited, so I hope it's worth a shot for most people. It's clearly advertised as a deal, so if it didn't payout I'm sure a quick phone call to Amex would put it right. Last year it was a very smooth process.

I did two cards last year, one worked and one didnt as they had reached the threshold. I will have to spend a bit of time to work out which card I havent synced so thats why I wanted to wait until was working 100%, although appreciate a phone call to customer service would sort this out if it didnt credit.

One more to mention, I transferred some amex membership points to nectar - due to the nectar double/treble/quadruple event. Not a bad use of points if your looking to use some points up.

As soon as you complete the details on the form to sync them, if the card is already synced you'll receive a message telling you. I wonder though, for your one that didn't pay out - it probably let you sync it and even write a review - but then didn't payout? So it might be that one isn't eligible to use this time around either as already seen as having been sync'd(?)

I did this the last time it was going on - on my BA-Amex card and got the 5 GBP credit within 5 days of posting the review. Just did the same on another Amex card and got an email thanking for the review - hopefully the credit would work out fine just like the last time.

Just to update: I got a response to my query and the credit went on the same day. Not sure if it is a result of my query or just taking that long but it's a lot longer than last time when I used a gold card...
