AMERICAN GANGSTER is based on a true story and set in 1968 Harlem, where Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) is a driver for Bumpy Johnson, one of the top figures in the city's criminal world. When Bumpy dies, Lucas swoops in, taking over his predecessor's empire and expanding it over the next few years with his sale of a particularly potent brand of heroin. Meanwhile, New Jersey cop Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) begins to investigate the New York drug world and discovers that there's a new power in town.

So what if you dont have a ps3 or a blu ray player than this is worth, think about it like that, not everyone has a blu ray player or ps3. So format war does not need to come into this. Think about the price and how it will benefit people with HD dvd format players.

Posts like this are about as predictable as the daily 'HD DVD at HMV' deals.

How come? Anyone who actually gives a care about HD-DVD knows HMV has had the same films for £3 for probably atleast half a year. Like Baldie demonstated.

So do you care to elaborate or do you just want to appear to be a smart ass?

I don't 'care' to do anything (what does that phrase even mean? It makes no sense in English.) or appear to be anything either.

There's always a sarcastic comment along the lines of "HD DVDs have been £3 in HMV for so long it's even in the Bible" that it becomes as predictably frequent as the deal it is commenting on.

And judging from post #3 above, obviously not everyone has known for half a year.

It must make you feel so good teaching people the English language, you should take it up as a profession or just shut up.

I wasn't being sarcastic. Seeing as you know English so well you should be able to see sarcasm was not part of my post. I simply stated the facts.

Did I say everyone has known? NO. That is the answer. Now I want you to answer that question and don't try to avoid it either.

HMV as most HD-DVD owners know has had these titles for as long as we can remember. Same titles same price. I doubt you can post another online retailer that is as popular for cheap HD-DVDs and has been for the whole of this year.

So next time don't bother trying to be a smart ****, because it doesn't wash with me. It's childish and pathetic.

You always know you're onto a winner when people resort to personal insults because they've ran out of credible things to add.

Childish indeed. Bye.

I knew you wouldn't answer my question.

Lesson learnt, don't bother questioning me again.
