Not bad for an Amex but there are 25 month interest free credit cards out there which will be accepted everywhere. Check out the Money saving expert website for latest deals

If you don't want to or can't change cards though this is a very good deal if you can get it.

Yes, these offers have now appeared on all our Amex cards (previously not showing offer at all). Does anyone know if this is one credit statement per card only or is it one credit statement per restaurant? Thanks.

Bet people will find dissapointing that if you've managed to save the offer last time you need save it again.
I'm not sure if we know that's the case yet?
Managed to save it last time. The offer was gone and had to save it again.

Thanks. Did it definitely show in your saved offers? Really strange why it may have worked for some and not others....hopefully everyone who wants to use it can do so.
We managed to load this to all 4 of our Amex cards on Friday, two rounds of large wines and a split bill for tapas at Camino, between us we got £40 back.
This offer is worth it for drinks alone, two large (250ml) wines @ £16.40 with £10 back.

I used it to book a hire car with Hertz for 3 weeks for my Gran Canaria holiday in May. The £50 was credited to my card within the 5 days. I can also confirm an earlier comment that supplementary cards can also save and utilise the offer if it has been registered online.
Sorry I didn't spot it, admin please feel free to remove this repost

Have been looking at this for a while now. Can anyone tell me if the £200 spend has to be made in one go? Or can it be for a number of separate purchases over a few weeks, so long as they add up to £200 before end of Feb?

it's cumulative

you generally get just 1 stack, ie 1 discount + 1 Amex statement credit but not Quidco/ TCB (except if they screw up)
dizzyshadow
be careful here - its worth checking their prices through a comparison site as well, i just bought a single trip policy through them £34 if i went direct or via quidco, same policy (still with amex) through go compare/compare the market was £11

I just noticed this while looking myself. The policies seem slightly different though: the names are Bronze, Silver, Gold on the comparison sites and Essential, Select and Prestige when booked directly. Documents for all types are listed here:

https://insurance.americanexpress.co.uk/travel-insurance/product-management/policy-terms-and-conditions/?linknav=ukiis-tr-TravelInsurance-sidemenu-PolicyTermsAndConditions

I haven't compared them all

Quidco does mention "Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts" but it's still a decent deal without it.

[...the contactless fails a fair bit (places such as Tesco).
Is it possible that's an issue with your actual physical card? I've had no problems with contactless on any of my Amex cards, just amazed at some big names that still haven't implemented it and I almost by default start to tap my card looking rather foolish X)

I wondered that but my Barclaycard has been replaced and I also have issues on my Virgin card. Shop assistants often say "Is it Amex, you need to use chip and pin". Superdrug is example where the contactless won't work on my Amex cards.

Buy a giftcard in the restaurant and then combine with 50% off mains Sunday to Friday in January - https://www.bellaitalia.co.uk/bella-club/?offer=50-off-mains&loc=
Just in case anyone tries too hard to be clever and thinks of getting an egiftcard from the Cafe Rouge website to make use of this offer - DON'T !!

The payment goes to Ayden Payment Services ( presumably their gift card provider) and so won't be eligible for the £20 cashback
thanks OP.

Just a heads up to everyone, this offer will stack with a vouchercloud offers

https://www.vouchercloud.com/cafe-rouge-vouchers

(best is 30% off food atm, due to expire but I'd put money on there being another straight away)

Does anyone pay full price at Cafe Rouge? I get 25% off through Barclays and get emails with offers when registered with them.

I doubt it very much but the point is this is a gift card so you can stack it with other dining offers. Or just spend it all on booze if you prefer ;)
Thanks OP. Just found it on one of my cards... :D

Has anybody purchased a £1K giftcard and received the £200 credit from AMEX
Redeemed on my wife's card. Now need to try to book my next business trip before the end of the month. Did anyone confirm if the gift vouchers worked or not? Wow, Amex were quick confirming this - received their email more or less immediately after buying the trip!
Can anyone confirm if they received the £200 statement credit for buying a Trailfinders gift card? ( or pl will they do so if they make the transaction in the next few weeks)

I know it works with Amex offers usually, but there's little risk in chancing it with a £50 Pizza Exp gift card, compared to this £1000 purchase!

Thanks

What if you got discount membership of Amazon on Black Friday for £59 which is going to be charged now?
If you took out the Prime membership on Black Friday then you will have already been charged £59 weeks ago so this offer from Amex has absolutely no bearing on that. Even if Amex had this offer running on Black Friday it wouldn't have made any difference as the spend needs to be £79 to trigger the £20 back!

But what about the £20 off?
Does that bring ti down to £39?

Heat added, my prime ended yesterday and resubscribed this morning. Already received email from Amex saying £20 credit will be added in 5 days. Hadn't seen your post on this until I created a deal for it just now when my duplication was then identified.
Is there any way to renew a membership in advance without cancelling? I've been given a couple of month free prime due to non/late delivery this year, which I expect I'd lose if I cancel.
Baffled.

Just thought I would add to this. I saved the offer but as I don't use AVIS I didn't think it would be worthwhile.

I have booked and prepaid a non refundable room for January (well two rooms) each at £70ish. I've just had the email from Amex to say I've redeemed their offer and sure enough I have £20 credit on my Amex statement.

As I have a couple of stays coming up I've registered another Amex and got the following confirmation when I did....showing you don't need to book both, just one or t'other.

Now that you have registered your American Express Card, spend a minimum of £100 at checkout at any of Hilton’s 13 brandsor when renting with Avis between December 1 and January 31 and get £20 back. Only one £20 statement credit per UK Card per merchant (Avis/Hilton).

Anyone else waiting for cash back to credit with Amex, I had 8 confirmation emails immediately after purchase but no sign of the credit as yet (transaction on 31/12)

I purchased my camera on the 31/12 and my cashback was paid today! 4 transactions ( 2 Amex cards)

I would think it's normal to still be waiting from them due to the public holidays. Hopefully it'll show up tomorrow or Friday for you.

Amex have been great with this deal....wasn't on my card but I messaged them to ask why and a very nice chap manually added it to my offers so I just got in on the 31st.

If you buy a £25 giftcard at the moment Caffe Nero will add a bonus £5. That means £30 credit for £22.50 after 10% off the £25 and their bonus £5 added.

I suspect they wont be running out of takers for 10% off 40p syrup on Tuesdays!

Can you get multiple cads in the same login...

No, just one per account as I understand.

I also have MBNA issued Amex - is there a way to load deals on them? I thought not but see off comments that suggest otherwise
Yes, via https://network.americanexpress.com/connect/uk/en/default.html HOWEVER, of late not many decent offers turning up.

Can you get multiple cads in the same login or need to set up separate usernames and passwords.....looked but couldnt find it.

I think if you pay at till instore for gift cards, it will record as spent in tkmaxx
Correct. Bought a £50 gift card in store yesterday and got the offer redeemed email minutes later.
Cool...Good idea to buy gift card and spend later without minimum amount of £50

Well I did it at one store only yesterday but haven't tried TK Max
Did you get a tracking email confirmation yesterday? They didn't seem to be working for Shop Small purchases (deal thread).

I was replying to the person that thought you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

With regards to Amex small shop yes I have noticed a few Emails haven't come through I'll give it a few days then call Amex for my £5 credit the ones that did work came through straight away. Did you use contactless as that's like playing battleships?

Anyone know if you can buy scratch cards/gift cards?
For some reason, a regular off license is listed near me, so could I go get some Half price scratch cards??? :D
Yes, I use each year for Lottery tickets.... never had any issues apart from the lack of jackpot wins. Ask first if they definitely accept the card and if they apply any fee (like 40p max).

They charged 55p, but having a word with word Amex resolved that as well as the retailer getting investigated for all unlawful charges to other customers.

Sometimes I get emails but I'm getting £5 rebates a few days later for all shop small

Are you mixing contactless and chip and PIN transactions? Contactless will be slower.
