I meant to update this the other day. True to form I got the £10 goodwill credit the day after the £10 HOF credit appeared. I'm very happy.

I did it all via Live Chat not phone.

http://i66.tinypic.com/nnvd08.png
I spent £70 at House of Fraser but received only a £10 credit

I called Amex. They said that this offer has always been £10 cashback. I disputed that and said I have a snapshot of the offer when I signed up. They asked me to upload this snapshot to their document centre and sent me instructions on how to do that.

I uploaded the file and received the additional £10 credit.

I've attached a copy of the offer here in case anyone else wants to use this snapshot:

https://images.hotukdeals.com/comments/content/L5mr5/31403385.jpg
Whilst it does state £10 in the text, I don't think Amex can argue that this offer wasn't misleading!

I'd suggest calling Amex on 0800 917 8015.
Just been on to 'em via their 'chat' service and basically, we are sorry but tough, no goodwill payment to make up the £20. Things must have changed at Amex!
I got my £10 credit today. I've just called and they are applying the £10 goodwill gesture.

For the person that doubted whether my constant use of vouchers works (and felt so strongly they had to PM me their life history), then yes it does. £70 of HOF vouchers for £50. Thanks Amex.

The goodwill gesture will show overnight but the credit is on from yesterday.

http://i63.tinypic.com/118eqfn.png
Has anyone got £20 credit back into their acc automatically or by ringing in and getting it as a goodwill gesture??

I have seen this pop up on several occasions on the Amex site, and have to say have been tempted.Having just looked at reviews of the company, both from a customer's perspective on trustpilot and tripadvisor, and also an employee's viewpoint, on glassdoor, the company appears to be rather poorly regarded?
wow, it's the first time I've Googled them for reviews. The reviews are pretty poor. There are also multiple references to pushy salesmen conning/forcing elderly relatives to buy overpriced wine. https://wine-pages.com/community/threads/pieroth.241/

did this before - it was a huge rip off and left a sour taste in our mouths.
a family member bought it as a gift for the family. the guy came to the house, was late, had an incredulous reaction when we asked if he could take his shoes off, didn't apologies to the table when he came in to meet us for his 30min lateness, gave everyone the smallest sip of each wine (like, 1-1.5cm from the bottom of the glass, no exaggeration). when one family member asked if he could look at the bottle, then when holding it asked if he could try a little more (and was granted permission), the guy started going "stop stop stop!" when he was pouring. (he really hadn't poured that much). the bottles still almost held as much as when he came as when he left. it felt very much like he was saving the bulk of his bottles for a off-the-books visit. he came so late and left late - I think there was 1 more tasting after us - if any. once I take into account about 8 (opened) bottles brought (and taken back almost at the same full-ness) and about 7 people, we had about max 1 glass per person of all of the tasted wines combined. it's not a cheap (RRP) wine tasting, so it really felt not worth it. oh, and the whole time, he rushed and acted like he couldn't wait to get out of there. we were very pleasant to him...
oh, the wines also weren't very nice. but that might have been partly to do with them having "wines that you can leave open for a week!" and our bottles not being new bottles.
OP, thanks for the thought and for going out of your way to post :) but I'm sorry to say - avoid!

Doesn't work for me either. Either account specific or one time only perhaps? (I've used a similar promotion a couple years back.)
Looks account specific, doesn't show on my card and the code doesn't work
I'd love to know if you can use this twice in the same a/c (but with a different card).

Why else are they emailing people who have already used this discount a few months ago?
No idea why this is cold.

Despite what the terms say you can register the same card on multiple accounts (friends, family, erm multiple emails... as long as they were active prior to the promo) and you only need to apply a minimum of 1 point from your rewards balance. Rinse, repeat.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/shopwithpoints/marketing.html?inc=swpamexukmr&pr=swpamexukmr&plattr=vanamexuk1309

To receive your promotional discount, you must:
1. Add £25 or more of eligible items sold and shipped by Amazon.co.uk to your shopping cart.
2. Enter the promo code AMEX16SWP in the box provided on the checkout page and pay for at least a portion of your order with Membership Rewards points.
3. £15 of savings will be reflected on the final order checkout page.

Promotion terms and conditions
1. This is a limited time offer. The promotion will end at 23:59 GMT on 31/10/2017 or when 33,333 customers have claimed the promotion code, whichever is earlier. The promotion code will expire concurrently.
2. To redeem the offer, you must be logged into an Amazon.co.uk account which has been active before 19 June 2017.
3. Offer applies only to the purchase of at least £25 of eligible items at Amazon.co.uk , where Membership Rewards points are used for at least a portion of the purchase and the promotion code is entered at checkout. Taxes, gift-wrap and shipping and handling charges do not apply when determining minimum purchase amount.
4. The maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is £15 per eligible Amazon account.
5. Offer does not apply to the purchase of digital content.
6. Offer only applies to eligible items sold by Amazon.co.uk .
7. Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address.
8. Shipping charges may apply to discounted promotional items.
9. Limit one promotion code per Membership Rewards eligible card.
10. Offer may not be combined with other offers.
11. Offer is available by invitation only, is non-transferable, is not redeemable for cash, and may not be resold.
12. Amazon.co.uk reserves the right to modify this offer at any time.
13. Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order.
14. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid. If any of the items related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the item, subject to applicable refund policies.
15. Promotional codes (including those placed directly in accounts) may not be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.
16. This promotion is available only to Amazon.co.uk customers with an eligible American Express card issued in the United Kingdom.

Don't understand how can people not vote hot. So little chance you can get £100 saving from BV. Just kind of sunk a good deal for potential spenders.

How do you know I cannot afford, maybe I have more sense than you, maybe you just like showing off but live in a sh*t hole and that being polite.

We got the offer on 1 out of the 8 Amex cards that we hold. So it certainly doesn't seem to be particularly widespread I'm afraid!
Just to clarify however that this appeared in the usual "My Offers" section of the Amex site - no email received or required!

Hi everyone

I have an AMEX with MBNA. How do I got about using this offer? Is it just a case of simply proceeding as normal and paying online via AMEX or do I need to register somewhere else first?
Hot - saved £200 (on 2 Amex cards, for 4 tickets - 2 transactions of £830)
Immediate Amex email confirmation of successful redemption
Very good timing of this offer for me

Not sure why this is cold

Because heat on this site is totally subjective and completely broken. I've setup loads of filters so I only look at interesting things regardless of heat.

I bought a gift card form a branch of C Rouge when the same deal appeared a few months ago and got the £20 statement credit . No issues. Clearly a better way to do it as extended expiry, and don't have to do a spend of £50 or over in one go

BUT buying an egiftcard from the C Rouge website doesn't work. - Obvious (now) that such transactions go through the company that processes the egift cards, and not through Cafe Rouge

I'm sure I will enjoy a meal before end of September! At least, maybe a bottle and a good afternoon tea? :P

I work at a similar restaurant and I know the till system Cafe Rouge uses inside out. The card machines are completely separate from the till system so unless AMEX called the restaurant to check they couldn't know that it was a gift card purchase.

Think you'd get away with it to be honest.
Not sure they'd know, but I'm sure they could do a spot check if you spent exactly £50 or something and get them to check. Not on mine, but I have had this offer before and used it, could that be the reason?>

Looks like Gift Cards are excluded from this deal. But how would AMEX know? Can anyone confirm they have received cashback on a gift card purchase?https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=0BwOTBTSAk-FwOUxSaU44a21HV2c
They don't, same for any offer like this. Always has been fine and I imagine always will be.

always will be?

you're joking, Morgie - won't be long until the technology improves such that if Amex want to exclude giftcards, it will be easy to do that on the till system/ identification of sale of gcs

probably could do it it now easily enough if they could be bothered

What if I book avios club world redemption using avios + taxes (say £550) for Dubai and then cancel it? From ba perspective they refund all avios and card charge after deducting £35. Basically net profit of £65, only if Amex doesn't take £100 statement credit back.

Give it a try and let us know.

From experience I have returned something, received a refund and kept the Amex statement credit, it was a smaller amount with a different retailer so you do so at your own risk

I'll give this a try thus weekend with fully flexible ticket. Ba charges £15 as a fee to cancel. It's a risk of £15 only. If it works, profit if £85
Update; lodged complaint at Amex; got email today complaint has been closed: I had zero contact from them. When they checked said no notes or any detail so closed issue hoping I'd go away. Big mistake: so now told them I have complaint raised against original complaint and expect call back within 24hours. Do not open a new case! Reopen current and bang it out of sla .... this is going to get bumpy fast....
What amazes me is the deal in the US for a BA card is JPMorgan Visa. You get 50k avions welcome bonus, no charges when using visa for buying tickets and card is free vs UK Amex where card is less accepted, 20k avois and card is £195 a year. Whole thing stinks. I've an even better story where BA charged me £1000 premium to fly to NZ from LHR where my parents flew identical trip but started in Toulouse through LHR and BAs explanation was "cost of living difference between UK and FR means we pay a higher ticket rate.... so essentially the message here is BA penalises Brits to use their own branded airline....

Not in my blue AMEX BA card. It's a bit annoying as I spend loads with BA and am a Silver exec member. So why haven't they offered me the deal?
Maybe you've answered your own question? Unfortunately it might be to encourage new(er) customers rather than reward those who are big spenders with them already :| You could try calling Customer Services to explain your disappointment and see if they can manually add it?
Ive almost had it with BA, robbing b******s.
They don't care about peoples loyalty as this deal shows. And making us pay for our GnT's and calling it an 'enhancement' ... they must think people are thick to swallow that crap!
If it wasn't for the fact I am silver, so get in the lounge so I can take 4 beers and some bags of crisps on board with me to f*** BOB - then I wouldn't bother flying them ever again... robbing gits
Completely agree - i just ripped Amex a new one - and stated WTF with all the BA money i spend - i jsut booked £1000+ tickets on amex 2 days ago!! Manager offered a one off £50 credit... i told him to Fk off and poke it. No more AMEX and no more BA - i am done with these @rsholes - PS gold status - woopdi-doo - they still ram ALL levels onto the plane at the same time unless you fly 1st (which i rarely do now as its no better than business) - 2 years of BA BS - fed up. Moving to Star Alliance - pity I'll lose 400k+ airmiles but those are useless too

Im with you brother. The best thing Id like to do with my BA silver card, is shove it as far up Alex Cruz's ar*e as possible !!

Most important you will get one year smart pass
pdrydenuk
Meaning. Can you stack?

it's a voucher unfortunately. Still the best Ocado offer currently as far as I can tell.
Meaning. Can you stack?
Is it a voucher or a credit statement?
samani
Can only be used if you have not used a 'first time' shop voucher before.

I have corrected the post. I hope you still think it's a good deal though :)

Great, thanks. Just ordered some socks so this is handy.
You spent a hundred nuggets on socks?
http://www.harveynichols.com/brand/london-sock-company-/148698-designer-sock-collection/p2713257/
get them listed on HUKD.. .that's amazing (+£6 postage ROFFFL)

Think it might be a glitch. If I post it as a deal they may cancel my order. I've ordered a 1000 sets to sell on ebay. This time next year I'll be a millionaire!!!

Gutted the Monarch wasn't showing on my card, I'm about to book flights with them....
Has anyone unlocked the Monarch offer based upon cumulative spend yet? (rather than a single transaction over £200).

Some amex deals work on cumulative spend, some don't.
Not showing on my cashback card, either.
Some new travel related ones today also:

* 5% back everytime at P&O Ferries
* Spend £150 or more, get £30 back at Hertz
harams
Not on my Lloyds card :-(

I have two American Express accounts and it's showing up on both.
