Not bad if you're going to be travelling with Emirates. Should be stackable with other discount codes (as long as total card transaction comes to £800 or more) and also qualify for cashback (e.g. with Quidco or Topcashback).

Showing on my Everyday Platinum Cashback card. No direct link to sign up additional cards, or enrol MBNA, Lloyds, Barclays or TSB Amex cards (currently - and will probably stay that way based on other recent deals).

Save to Card to get a £100 statement credit when you spend £800+ at emirates.com/uk by 6/11/16. UK departure flights only. Valid once per Card for the first 10,000 UK Cardmembers to save. Terms and payment restrictions apply.

Good if you are booking flights anyway.

I'm not too sure if Amex (ab)users are aware, but it's only around 13 weeks until the next 'Shop Small' event. :D

Found on both mine and my wife's Amex Platinum Cards. Will use for flights direct from Glasgow > Dubai for £419 each in November

As mentioned in the OP I don't see any additional links to sign up non Amex issued cards.

Are there any other stackable codes for Emirates - any place I can find them? Thanks morgie for an amazing Amex deal - as always from you :)

no surprise its not on my British Airways Avios card!

Emirates is now overpriced and very average service, I guess they are to busy buying planes and trying to be big boys.

I've found the service pretty good, and a fairly young fleet.

Cheers. I can't see any other valid codes at the moment, but cashback on TCB and Quidco.

Etihad airways are offering upto 50% off on fares, worth checking them out if you not comfortable with Emirates.

Do they charge you less if you spend more time on the ceiling than in your seat?

'1.A surcharge of GBP 5 per passenger applies to flights departing from the United Kingdom paid for with a credit card for adults and children, in all cabins and within all fare types. The surcharge doesn't apply on tickets for infants.

Login to your Amex account and check your offers. I'd be surprised if this showed on a BA card.

OMG £450 annual fee for a platinum card.

Yes, or £25 for the Platinum Cashback card per year, or no fee for the Platinum Cashback Everyday credit card.

I am genuinely wondering after all the recent changes to the cashback rates if its really worth paying the 25 quid a year for the card fee or just switch to the free everyday card - thoughts?

I took the fee card for the first year when it was effectively free (Quidco covered it) and then switched to the free one. You actually have to close the fee one and apply for the free one as a new card. At that time I got another 3 months at 5%, I'm not sure if they've tried to stop that - worth a shot.

Work out how much you spend on average and how much you'd earn with both (after the fee on the first card of course).

I've recently taken out an amex platinum cashback everyday card, I have registered it but am not seeing this offer (or any offers) under the offers tab in my account. Hoping to book a couple of flights with Emirates soon, have I missed out on this or does anyone know if theres a way I can get access to the offer?

I think it can take up to one billing cycle before offers start to show. I'm afraid it's doubtful this one would appear for you now. You could always call Amex and ask, probably a long shot.
