Giftcards would be the way and combine with offers.

It's about time they started looking after the small shops!

But if I go to the ASK site I can get a voucher for 25% off right away. Isn't that better than the maximum 20% I'd have to wait for on the card?

Or am I missing something, perhaps you can stack the discounts?

Yes, buy a giftcard and pay any amount with that. Not limited to a £50 or more spend.
Use the discount vouchers to reduce your bill.

I've got £10 cashback on £40 spend on two of my cards, with £10 cashback on £50 spend on a third one.

With the £10 cashback on £40 spend, I tend to get the bill up to around £55, use a 25% off voucher to get that down to £40 ish and then use my Amex to pay. This equates to a £55 meal for £30.

On the £10 cash on £50 spend, the figures would be £67 bill down to £50 with vouchers, then down to £40 with Amex.

TBH, I think the ASK prices are inflated to take account of the voucher deals anyway....

In my experience, Amex deals always stack. The cash back is credited to your account one day after the payment and is backdated so there's no waiting as it comes off before the credit card bill.

If you got the £10 off £50 (20% off), you may prefer to go for the current offer in Tesco (2 days left) for 20% off the £20 giftcards for ASK. There are also others on offer including Zizzi, Pizza Hut and Accessorise - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/20-off-accessorize-italian-pizza-hut-zizzi-gift-cards-tesco-2537709

Still well worth combining with a free Tastecard for 2 for 1 on starters, mains and desserts Sunday to Thursday......however ASK are accepting them today (Friday 11/11) and Saturday (12/11) too - https://www.tastecard.co.uk/restaurants/ASK-Italian Apply for the free trial card here - http://www.tastecard.co.uk/trial/2/muddymatches No credit card info etc needed and you can start using the app version right away while you wait for the physical card in the post.
