Bring your own food if you do this "cruise" as it's very much Scandinavian pricing on board!

€5.80~€7.80 for a bloody coffee and a very underwhelming "world famous" buffet didn't impress me.

Nice enough ship though, cabin was clean and tidy - had a good time on the way back watching movies on my laptop - best part of the journey

You have to watch these deals with great care , cheap prices are boosted dramatically by pricing for drinks , food etc .

Friend of mine went on a 14 day cruise to the Med , he was given a bill for nearly £90 per day for drinks , moderate consumption , plus compulsory tips for the staff !!!!

While the base price sounds okay...there are NO cheap cabins left...and you're paying a minimum £67 pp, and MUCH more in most cases!! ....A 2 course small steak meal is nearly £26 EACH!!!! Looks like you'll be paying through the nose for food...and the idea of taking your own food on board is just pathetic...who wants to worry about having to stock up at Tesco's ( or wherever ) due to on board prices, when the idea is to be having a relaxing break??

TBH, I'd rather pay a few quid more for a fly break than spend my time cooped up in a veal crate masquerading as an " inside cabin ".

Okay if you're really desperate to spend your time on a ferry ship with a few hours on land......

not voting either way since those who like this kind of break will ( hopefully ) enjoy it...but just seems like an expensive waste of money for minimal land time imho.

Sounds a hoot.

I hope you realise there was a hefty does of sarcasm in the last part of my post ;-)

It's only a deal if you like spending enormous amounts of time on the ferry - seeing you'll only get a few hours in Amsterdam. It's not a very nice crossing if the sea is rough.
